@Daniel Smith oh this was just one he mentioned. but personally the sealed nectar is good (life of the prophet) because it gives an account of pre-islam arabia and how backwards they really were, for their time. so it really puts things into context as how they go from crazy desert folk to making all these advancements.

The ones I have are Muhammad Asad’s translation, the noble Quran, the clear Quran, Sam Gerrans translation, as well as Abdullah Yusuf Ali’s translation and Ali unal’s translation. Before you try other historic books, I strongly suggest you to read Quran and Sahih Al Bukhari and Sahih Al Muslim. Read these books with an open mind and heart. You will realise Quran is made by Muhammad himself for his own wellness and not from Allah. ( The word Allah is comes from Arab tribal god Allah, the father of Lata, Uzza and Manat) So that means Allah is the not the same god of Ibrahim nabi, Moosa nabi and Issa nabi. Al-Lat was also called as a daughter of Allah along with the other two chief goddesses al-'Uzza and Manat. According to the Book of Idols, the Quraysh were to chant the following verses as they circumambulate the Kaaba: By al-Lat and al-'Uzza, And Manat, the third idol besides.

its not fair to claim that Thomas died a 'non-muslim', because belief is private and sacred to ones soul. He preached more for Islam than some self-proclaimed muslims, and Allah swt decides who His believers are.

@@riphdy1 belief has to be public. We go by what we know or we could say every non Muslim is not necessarily a kaffir because we don’t know about their belief. You need witnesses for a shahada as to be a Muslim is a public declaration. Without it, you are assumed to be a non Muslim. Otherwise we hit a slippery slope of saying everyone is possibly a private Muslim.

The ones I have and have read or I am reading is, The Message of the Quran by Muhammad Asad , the noble Quran, the clear Quran, Sam gerrans translation of the Quran. I have Abdullah yusuf Ali’s and marmaduke pickthalls translations as well but I haven’t read them yet. I just order Ali Unals translations and will read it. Also do you have an opinion about the majestic Quran? I have seen a lot of videos criticizing it, but at the same time a lot of positive reviews. I really respect you as a scholar and really value your opinions so any input would be great thanks. :)

Thank you Brother for these recommendations now i know where to start from.. but i have a request ..would you please recommend some books for Indian muslims and Hindus the minority ones that actually want to learn the truth. You can select the books by your discretion as you are well aware of the conditions of Muslims here and the misconceptions of Hindus. I have already read India in the Persianate Age by R.M. Eaton, Aurangzeb and his Times by Zahiruddin Faruqui and Tipu Sultan by Mohibbul Hasan these too were your recommendations and were of great help. And please keep these book recommendation vidoes on... There are many like me who want learn but dont know where to start often they stumble upon wrong material as they are exorbitantly ubiquitous.

I live in Northern kenya. As a christian, i fear being butchered by alshabab while travelling because i cant recite shahada, or some koranic verse. Some of us who work in this region invest in islamic clothings to comouflage while travelling. Islam is a strange doctrine. *Islam Forbids Terrorism and the killing of any innocent person* "Allah does not forbid you from dealing kindly and fairly with those who have neither fought nor driven you out of your homes. Surely Allah loves those who are fair." [Quran Chapter 60:8]. [Quran 2:192] "If they refrain, then GOD is Forgiving, Most Merciful." [Quran 2:193] "You may also fight them to eliminate oppression, and to worship GOD freely. If they refrain, you shall not aggress; aggression is permitted only against the aggressors." *2:190 All fighting is regulated by the basic rule in 60:8-9. Fighting is allowed strictly in self-defense, while aggression and oppression are strongly condemned throughout the Quran. [Quran 5:87] "O you who believe, do not prohibit good things that are made lawful by GOD, and do not aggress; GOD dislikes the aggressors." [Quran 8:61] "If they resort to peace, so shall you, and put your trust in GOD. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient." [Quran 4:90] ... "if they leave you alone, refrain from fighting you, and offer you peace, then GOD gives you no excuse to fight them".

But Adnan one could argue America and Britain are head of the scientific age, but their foreign policy is very questionable. Being head of science isn't answering islamaphobes questions to isis. What if isis have the best Dr's or build the best weapons how does this manifest into attitude towards non Muslims. I think people don't care about if Muslims were head of science they want to know where do isis get there ideas from?

i, as a spectator of this video, am pleed to be a witness for the end of time, that states, i am not reliable to change or to know the reality of what the creator of this video is trying to convey with or without the use of mischief, and i pleed as a witness intentions that is being informed using video of such for the purpose of good or bad in the eye of god. i am to remind and to inform to anyone and everyone here to. 1. realise how god will ask how we turn our back to them nor how we turn to god 2. realise someone who is responsible to convertion to any religion either it is christianity,islam, jews and any other will be responsible for the persons convertion. 3. realise it is also the responsible of the person who is converted from any religion to other religion to why they convert. 4. realise it is peoples responsibility to research everything that is being inform in the video or being informed of. 5. realise only god knows best to what is good and what is bad to what he creates. i pleed i had inform what is i relise to myself to what is to be reminded to the people of any religion,i am not reliable to change or to convey any action of moving toward or against god. and pleed to remind to have sent a reminder to any creator of representing their religion to be "honest, follow the road of god, and be reminded of the power of god" and lastly i am pleed to not be responsible of any changes that happen to anyone besides it is god who is willing.

Maybe they are getting paid. But Saudi Arabia is also paying the Wahhabis to preach their ideology to the people, both in Muslim and non-Muslim countries. They are also paying Western scientists and scholars to promote "Qur'an and science" narrative. Concerning the Islamic history, civilisation and culture, I'm personally a fan of many aspects of these, but: 1. Liking a culture is not the same as accepting religious doctrine it was based on. One can like Roman Empire's architecture, or the piramids. That doesn't mean this person will worship their gods. 2. Producing some good can't justify the bad sides. If I like the architecture of the Colloseum, that doesn't mean I like what was happening there during gladiators' fights. Similarly, liking the architecture of the Blue Mosque, for instance, doesn't mean being affirmative of the fact that the same sultan who built it held captured sex-slaves in the harem. And not just that he was doing that, but it is also based on the Islamic teachings that are in Qur'an and hadith.
