We were in Pennsylvania for Round 4 of the Pro Motocross Championship and the storylines continue to get better each week! From the 450 class battles of the Lawrence Brothers and Chase Sexton to the 250 class of Ty Masterpool getting his first ever Overall after coming from a Privateer to now a factory fill in rider. James breaks down why Chase was able to snag the fastest lap times of each moto but not finish the job while Jett made it look easy and just how much Jett learns from riding behind others. He also talks about what he sees in Deegan from his perspective and if Deegan truly means what he says or what hes trying to achieve by making comments on the podium week in and week out.

Jett is living rent free in Chases head just like Deegs is living rent free in the whole 250 class's head. They will be thinking about Deegs from the start of the moto even if he's 20 seconds down not 10 seconds JS7 😅. Deegs could have caught Ty in motto 2 but he kept taking 3 corners on the inside and keep losing time and had to catch back and on the one corner he made 3 corners out of one corner on that lower left hand down hill off camber corner. And congrats to Ty and pro circuit for 300 hundred. I love listening to Deegs getting his deegs in. Tom is over a moto down and so is Chance. And Deegs could careless about hurting people's feelings America has become to soft and get butt hurt over everything. Only the haters get but hurt. Deegs has the best statistics in the whole 250 and he's only been in the class for a year and a half. Can you imagine how Levi is feeling right now that Ty got Mitch his 300th win and won an overall and he hasn't. Levi needs to put some muscle on his bones because Ty is going to be the top 250 mx rider for Mitch. Mark my words Ty will probably get a 450 ride with Mitch.

that's a gold tip for many of us amateurs here... "changing a fork a milimiter raising it up or down is huuuuge change!" And that's true... lets forget about engines, ecus, exhaust line... we can't outperform those beasts even stock! What we really need to do and improve our riding is to adapt the fraking suspension to our way of riding, weight and agressiveness! Keep it up JS7, cheers from Portugal!

DUDE, REALLY??? WTF, OVER??? I don't think that there are more than 2-300 people on this whole twirling rock that could tell you ""YES"" or ""NO"" to and in what direction (if any) that the fork was moved 00.03937" AKA 1mm. Making that type of adjustment at the EXTREME ends of the usable area might be easier to detect & if everything else on said racing unit was PERFECT, then feeling said amount of movement might be doable, but as I was listening to JS7 last week during the broadcast of the race, I said to myself, ""I ONLY WISH THAT I WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY MOTO"" because of a 1mm adjustment to the fork height, more power to ya, those that have been blessed (coursed) with that ability. In some respects I do know how that might feel since I am a repair person that can not look/see something WITHOUT SEEING EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH IT & having to say so. That makes living with a WENCHIE pretty difficult, to say the least. Well party on GARTH................................MR
@obamavariant9128
@obamavariant9128 12 күн бұрын
@@vmcmark7578you don’t have to be a pro rider to feel the difference an adjustment makes. If nobody could feel the adjustments then the manufacturers wouldn’t bother putting them there. Forks might have 5mm of adjustment, so 1mm is a 20% change. The average rider should be able to notice a 20% change in a bike they ride frequently.

Deegs acts how he is wired. I don't think his personality is anything but authentic... He figured out at a young age how to play the game inside his own head . That's why and how he can manifest 2:10's and make up 10 seconds on the last 2 laps ... he believes he can because he's done it before. He's gotten plenty of negative social media energy for years and learned how to channel that into potent Dawg mode juice on the track. Super fun to watch gonna be tough to stop!

Watching from NZ, Great show JS. I love your insight into strategy and mindset and I really liked how you mentioned the bike setup and how much a 1mm change in the front can make such a difference and exactly what difference it makes. It helps me to learn and also visualise what is going on, and you explain it in such an easy way to understand. You are a legend, love your work and I will be watching every episode from here on in. Cheers.

I hope I get to shake your hand some day. My first memory of you was at a track in Florida. Really nice track way off the road. Had lights and everything. Also a an oval dirt track with high banks. I think it was called Sunset? Kinda of I. 4. Anyways it was a Wednesday night practice. I came up on a little kid on a KX 60 I think. Little kid was going pretty fast being so small. You fell right after a blind turn with a hill in section 1. I stopped picked up the bike started it . Mostly cus it was a dangerous blind spot. You said “ thanks man” and off you went. Back at the truck I was telling my buddies you see how fast that little kid is! My buddy pulled out a magazine and showed me that you were in it. A Kawi ad or something. Amazing how it all turned out. Big fan, thanks J7

I think Sexton just shows his card wheres Jett hides them. Every time Sexton goes faster or challenges or passes him, Jett studies him and passes back and Jett looks like he's using half the energy and taking half the risk to go the same speed which allows him to have a game plan I like Chase but I don't think we often see how fast Jett actually is, he just goes as fast as he needs to for the win we see glimpses of his raw speed when he needs to pass through the pack or when he's challenged

James needs to accept that Chase just isn't as good as Jett. Chase has to push near his limit just to compete with Jett when he is in his comfort zone. It's hard to manage races and have a game plan when the guy you're up against has you covered everywhere. These past couple weeks were the best opportunity anybody would have to beat Jett and put him down in the points. Jett shut that down and made it to the break without losing anymore points from his big crash.

@LetBrockBye I don't know if I'd go that far. I like seeing Chase go all out to beat Jett. It's kinda hard to watch him come up short every weekend just because it looks so painful for him. And I guess he would probably have a much longer career if he didn't push past his limit every time he's on the bike. But at least the racing is entertaining and he doesn't talk shit about how he's better than Jett.
