that's a gold tip for many of us amateurs here... "changing a fork a milimiter raising it up or down is huuuuge change!" And that's true... lets forget about engines, ecus, exhaust line... we can't outperform those beasts even stock! What we really need to do and improve our riding is to adapt the fraking suspension to our way of riding, weight and agressiveness! Keep it up JS7, cheers from Portugal!
@vmcmark75785 ай бұрын
DUDE, REALLY??? WTF, OVER??? I don't think that there are more than 2-300 people on this whole twirling rock that could tell you ""YES"" or ""NO"" to and in what direction (if any) that the fork was moved 00.03937" AKA 1mm. Making that type of adjustment at the EXTREME ends of the usable area might be easier to detect & if everything else on said racing unit was PERFECT, then feeling said amount of movement might be doable, but as I was listening to JS7 last week during the broadcast of the race, I said to myself, ""I ONLY WISH THAT I WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY MOTO"" because of a 1mm adjustment to the fork height, more power to ya, those that have been blessed (coursed) with that ability. In some respects I do know how that might feel since I am a repair person that can not look/see something WITHOUT SEEING EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH IT & having to say so. That makes living with a WENCHIE pretty difficult, to say the least. Well party on GARTH................................MR
@obamavariant91285 ай бұрын
@@vmcmark7578you don’t have to be a pro rider to feel the difference an adjustment makes. If nobody could feel the adjustments then the manufacturers wouldn’t bother putting them there. Forks might have 5mm of adjustment, so 1mm is a 20% change. The average rider should be able to notice a 20% change in a bike they ride frequently.

Great podcast James 1st time commenting but long time fan I could go on for days about the things you have done for making great races thank you so much! One quick question are you ever going to come out of retirement for one or two races and smoke em again in one race you can knock off the King & Ryan V and you know if you come back for a veterans race #22 will be wanting to see the back of # 7 jerseys, Cheers Mark Az

James needs to accept that Chase just isn't as good as Jett. Chase has to push near his limit just to compete with Jett when he is in his comfort zone. It's hard to manage races and have a game plan when the guy you're up against has you covered everywhere. These past couple weeks were the best opportunity anybody would have to beat Jett and put him down in the points. Jett shut that down and made it to the break without losing anymore points from his big crash.

What you said is just factual. All the plans in the world won't change reality.
@LetBrockBye5 ай бұрын
James is not the only one who needs to accept that fact, Chase himself needs to.
@seanhaberman46195 ай бұрын
@LetBrockBye I don't know if I'd go that far. I like seeing Chase go all out to beat Jett. It's kinda hard to watch him come up short every weekend just because it looks so painful for him. And I guess he would probably have a much longer career if he didn't push past his limit every time he's on the bike. But at least the racing is entertaining and he doesn't talk shit about how he's better than Jett.

@@seanhaberman4619 I guess my point is, stop blaming everything but your own ability. Just own it and get better

@@LetBrockByeexactly. Complaining about Factory bikes and blaming it on the best bikes in the world is nauseating.

There wasn’t one moment in that race when I thought Chase was going to win after he passed Jett just based off of his prior history of throwing away the race when he takes the lead.

JS7 do you think Haiden will ride 450 outdoors next season?
@snowzZzZz5 ай бұрын
I think Sexton just shows his card wheres Jett hides them. Every time Sexton goes faster or challenges or passes him, Jett studies him and passes back and Jett looks like he's using half the energy and taking half the risk to go the same speed which allows him to have a game plan I like Chase but I don't think we often see how fast Jett actually is, he just goes as fast as he needs to for the win we see glimpses of his raw speed when he needs to pass through the pack or when he's challenged

This is what it would have looked like for Chase if Austin Forkner could have stayed healthy. Jett is filling that spot that is just out of Chases reach.

It’s time for 7, Ricky, RV, Dungey, 22, KDub and JB to race Loretta’s. Do a buy weeks race package. I’m buying. Use the proceeds for St Jude’s.

I'd buy a freaking ppv to watch that if the proceeds went to St Judes!! Who am I kidding, I'd pay to watch that even if they were pocketing the money 😂

Haiden understands that it’s also about entertainment. His dad embraced the bad guy role for years, and it made his famous and rich. In the end, it sells. They are setting him up to be the bad guy, which sells tickets. They just need to find a good guy like Travis was for years. I think that is being setup to be Jet in a few years. Haiden is talking trash, but it’s a part of Brian’s plan.
@tjtruth47935 ай бұрын
I’ve been thinking this also. And it’s gonna be so sick to watch. What’s great is it seems like it’s authentic. Not that Deegan is a ‘bad’ guy or Jett is ‘good,’ but it’s more of the natural personality types will provide the natural friction that facilitates great showmanship of ‘bad’ and ‘good’ guy. I think it’s gonna be great.
