BYD Song L will be launched within the year or be sold at a starting price of 250,000 yuan.
Unveiled at this year's Chengdu Auto Show, BYD Song L has today officially released official images of the rear-wheel drive version of the interior. According to official statements, the interior design concept is compatible with the "Pioneer Dragon Face Aesthetics" inspired by Chinese knot elements and adopts the "Momentum Cascade Aesthetics" with a more distinctive design aesthetic.
It shows that the interior of the rear-wheel drive version has pure and warm off-white tones, creating a comfortable and balanced atmosphere. The design features a neat sprinkling of Chinese knots, from the main instrument panel to auxiliary gauges, door panels, headrests, etc. It gives Song L a unique oriental charm and Pioneer texture by transforming it into a layered and gradual internal structure that extends up to 100 meters away. The air conditioning outlet in the center of the instrument panel is located below the large central control display.
In addition, Song L will also be equipped with a new generation DiLink car-machine system, and equipped with AR-HUD head-up display, EC dimmable canopy, wide temperature range heat pump air conditioner and other configurations.
The electronic gear lever adopts crystal cutting technology, and the buttons are integrated around the gear lever, highlighting the luxurious texture, in line with Song L's positioning in the details; Two wireless charging pads are placed in front of the gear lever. The driver and passenger's mobile phone charging needs are all met, there is plenty of storage space under the gear lever, and overall practicality is quite outstanding.
Song L's front seats adopt an integrated wrapping structure and integrated headrests, matching ergonomics and providing both sportiness and comfort; The rear seats adopt the traditional split headrest design, and each of the three seats is equipped with independent headrests. Song L uses a large-sized panoramic glass canopy that extends from the front row to the head position of the back row, and the lighting area is quite large.
It is built on BYD's e-platform 3.0 and adopts Dynasty.com's new generation "Pioneer Dragon Face Aesthetics" design language. The front face design of the new car is simple and sporty, with two dragon teeth next to the front grille, showing calmness and confidence. The final touch has been made. The sharp shape of the headlights on both sides is integrated with the "dragon whiskers" that flow with light and shadow, giving a high-end feel.
The side of the car body adopts a diagonal shape. The body stance is very low and the arch is also very strong, showing the air of being ready to go. In addition, the "five-pointed star" rims on the Song L are equipped with very beautiful and large brake calipers, highlighting the sporty nature.
The rear of the vehicle has a multi-layered shape with a crossover-type stripe taillight design and is also equipped with an electrically removable rear spoiler and high-mounted brake lights to further emphasize the sporty feel. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of Song L are 4840*1950*1560 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2930 mm, which is much larger than Tesla Model Y.
In addition, Song L will also be equipped with frameless doors, active electric lift tail, active air intake grille, suspended spoiler and other sports configurations.
In terms of power, there will be rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models. The rear-wheel drive model is divided into high and low power settings, with maximum power of 204 horsepower and 313 horsepower, respectively. The four-wheel drive model with a comprehensive system has 517 horsepower and an acceleration time of 100 kilometers per hour in 4.3 seconds.
