Thank you! Part two is coming soon :) 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. When I study, my go-to translation is Young's Literal Translation. This translation was written with the goal to translated the Bible as literally as possible. This makes it hard to read (kind of clunky), so I usually only use it when I'm trying to investigate a verse. However, never fully trust in a translation because everyone is capable of writing according to their bias instead of what is right. When I'm investigating a verse, I always look it up in the original language and look at a word by word translation. I usually use Biblehub. I really like that I can click on each word and look at how it was translated in other verses. Here's a sample biblehub.com/interlinear/romans/16-1.htm ^ This is the verse about Deaconess Phoebe Also, whenever I am studying I try to look at both sides of the argument equally. I usually google both sides at length to make sure I am able to accurately explain any mistranslations. Proverbs 18:17 - The person who tells one side of a story seems right, until someone else comes and asks questions. ^^ ALWAYS hear the other side out. We are all quite capable of being wrong. And finally and most importantly, the Holy Spirit it necessary if you are trying to get the true meaning in scripture. When you're reading whatever translation you prefer, and come across a verse that doesn't sound quite right, that is likely the Holy Spirit letting you know something is a little of with that translation and that an investigation is needed. I hope this is helpful :) I plan on making a video with Bible study tips eventually

Christ Walk thanks for the tips!! I love cross references and also bible gateway to study. I know you don’t believe in the tithe, so does your church tithe? Since God has reveal to me the truth about tithing I’m wondering if I should visit churches that teach on it. I currently don’t have a church I know God called me out for a while but now he’s moving me to a new city and I want to be around like minded people, I know God will give this to me but I’m just curious to know. 💝

I'm not sure if the church I'm at now teaches tithe or not. I don't think it does because I haven't heard anything about it and have been here for about seven months or so. They focus more on personal relationship than doctrine. I think it's ok to go to a church that teaches tithe. It's nearly impossible to find a church that teaches everything correctly 100% (there's over 3,000 denominations of Christianity and counting). However, if you're at a church where the minister is KNOWINGLY deceiving the church with the doctrine for their own gain, then I'd probably find somewhere else. One of the most important things about finding a good church is to look for a place that you can serve as well as be served. You want to be able to be enriched by the message/fellowship/worship but also be able to contribute your personal giftings as well. Hope this helps :)

Also according to Yahweh's purity requirements. Niddah would be a huge issue. So if this happens a women can't be in the assembly never mind Leading a church. It makes the whole place unclean. Leviticus 15:19-33 This is also why before going to the assembly a Husband should not be with his wife, or he is unclean as well. Lev 15:19 “When a woman has a discharge, and the discharge in her body is blood, she shall be in her menstrual impurity for seven days, and whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening. Lev 15:20 And everything on which she lies during her menstrual impurity shall be unclean. Everything also on which she sits shall be unclean. Lev 15:21 And whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening. Lev 15:22 And whoever touches anything on which she sits shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening. Lev 15:23 Whether it is the bed or anything on which she sits, when he touches it he shall be unclean until the evening. Lev 15:24 And if any man lies with her and her menstrual impurity comes upon him, he shall be unclean seven days, and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean. Lev 15:25 “If a woman has a discharge of blood for many days, not at the time of her menstrual impurity, or if she has a discharge beyond the time of her impurity, all the days of the discharge she shall continue in uncleanness. As in the days of her impurity, she shall be unclean. Lev 15:26 Every bed on which she lies, all the days of her discharge, shall be to her as the bed of her impurity. And everything on which she sits shall be unclean, as in the uncleanness of her menstrual impurity. Lev 15:27 And whoever touches these things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening. Lev 15:28 But if she is cleansed of her discharge, she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. Lev 15:29 And on the eighth day she shall take two turtledoves or two pigeons and bring them to the priest, to the entrance of the tent of meeting. Lev 15:30 And the priest shall use one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. And the priest shall make atonement for her before the LORD for her unclean discharge. Lev 15:31 “Thus you shall keep the people of Israel separate from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness by defiling my tabernacle that is in their midst.” Lev 15:32 This is the law for him who has a discharge and for him who has an emission of semen, becoming unclean thereby; Lev 15:33 also for her who is unwell with her menstrual impurity, that is, for anyone, male or female, who has a discharge, and for the man who lies with a woman who is unclean.

The Word of God proclaims, “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent” (1 Timothy 2:11-12). In the church, God assigns different roles to men and women. This is a result of the way mankind was created and the way in which sin entered the world (1 Timothy 2:13-14). God, through the apostle Paul, restricts women from serving in roles of teaching and/or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors over men, which definitely includes preaching to them, teaching them publicly, and exercising spiritual authority over them. There are many objections to this view of women in pastoral ministry. A common one is that Paul restricts women from teaching because in the first century, women were typically uneducated. However, 1 Timothy 2:11-14 nowhere mentions educational status. If education were a qualification for ministry, then the majority of Jesus’ disciples would not have been qualified. A second common objection is that Paul only restricted the women of Ephesus from teaching men (1 Timothy was written to Timothy, the pastor of the church in Ephesus). Ephesus was known for its temple to Artemis, and women were the authorities in that branch of paganism-therefore, the theory goes, Paul was only reacting against the female-led customs of the Ephesian idolaters, and the church needed to be different. However, the book of 1 Timothy nowhere mentions Artemis, nor does Paul mention the standard practice of Artemis worshipers as a reason for the restrictions in 1 Timothy 2:11-12. A third objection is that Paul is only referring to husbands and wives, not men and women in general. The Greek words for “woman” and “man” in 1 Timothy 2 could refer to husbands and wives; however, the basic meaning of the words is broader than that. Further, the same Greek words are used in verses 8-10. Are only husbands to lift up holy hands in prayer without anger and disputing (verse 8)? Are only wives to dress modestly, have good deeds, and worship God (verses 9-10)? Of course not. Verses 8-10 clearly refer to all men and women, not just husbands and wives. There is nothing in the context that would indicate a narrowing to husbands and wives in verses 11-14. Yet another objection to this interpretation of women in pastoral ministry is in relation to women who held positions of leadership in the Bible, specifically Miriam, Deborah, and Huldah in the Old Testament. It is true that these women were chosen by God for special service to Him and that they stand as models of faith, courage, and, yes, leadership. However, the authority of women in the Old Testament is not relevant to the issue of pastors in the church. The New Testament Epistles present a new paradigm for God’s people-the church, the body of Christ-and that paradigm involves an authority structure unique to the church, not for the nation of Israel or any other Old Testament entity. Similar arguments are made using Priscilla and Phoebe in the New Testament. In Acts 18, Priscilla and Aquila are presented as faithful ministers for Christ. Priscilla’s name is mentioned first, perhaps indicating that she was more prominent in ministry than her husband. Did Priscilla and her husband teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to Apollos? Yes, in their home they “explained to him the way of God more adequately” (Acts 18:26). Does the Bible ever say that Priscilla pastored a church or taught publicly or became the spiritual leader of a congregation of saints? No. As far as we know, Priscilla was not involved in ministry activity in contradiction to 1 Timothy 2:11-14. In Romans 16:1, Phoebe is called a “deacon” (or “servant”) in the church and is highly commended by Paul. But, as with Priscilla, there is nothing in Scripture to indicate that Phoebe was a pastor or a teacher of men in the church. “Able to teach” is given as a qualification for elders, but not for deacons (1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:6-9). The structure of 1 Timothy 2:11-14 makes the reason why women cannot be pastors perfectly clear. Verse 13 begins with “for,” giving the “cause” of Paul’s statement in verses 11-12. Why should women not teach or have authority over men? Because “Adam was created first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived” (verses 13-14). God created Adam first and then created Eve to be a “helper” for Adam. The order of creation has universal application in the family (Ephesians 5:22-33) and in the church. The fact that Eve was deceived is also given in 1 Timothy 2:14 as a reason for women not serving as pastors or having spiritual authority over men. This does not mean that women are gullible or that they are all more easily deceived than men. If all women are more easily deceived, why would they be allowed to teach children (who are easily deceived) and other women (who are supposedly more easily deceived)? The text simply says that women are not to teach men or have spiritual authority over men because Eve was deceived. God has chosen to give men the primary teaching authority in the church. Many women excel in gifts of hospitality, mercy, teaching, evangelism, and helping/serving. Much of the ministry of the local church depends on women. Women in the church are not restricted from public praying or prophesying (1 Corinthians 11:5), only from having spiritual teaching authority over men. The Bible nowhere restricts women from exercising the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12). Women, just as much as men, are called to minister to others, to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), and to proclaim the gospel to the lost (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 3:15). God has ordained that only men are to serve in positions of spiritual teaching authority in the church. This is not because men are necessarily better teachers or because women are inferior or less intelligent (which is not the case). It is simply the way God designed the church to function. Men are to set the example in spiritual leadership-in their lives and through their words. Women are to take a less authoritative role. Women are encouraged to teach other women (Titus 2:3-5). The Bible also does not restrict women from teaching children. The only activity women are restricted from is teaching or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors to men. This does not make women less important, by any means, but rather gives them a ministry focus more in agreement with God’s plan and His gifting of them.

I wonder what you think of 1st Corinthians 14:34. This verse is in reference to women keeping silent in the church.

hi I still haven't gotten around to the part 2 of this video (been pretty busy lately) but that will be addressed when I finally make it. That verse comes from a letter that was written to a specific church that was having disruption. Read the verses around for context they all deal with people being loud/disruptive in the church. The wives in the church were interrupting church to ask questions so they were instructed to wait and ask etheir husbands at home

@@BeyondBeliefChannelalso a women was sleeping with her son, or step son while married to his father. He was rightly delivered to Satan for the pride that was leading the church into pride. Paul does not kick her out. We don't know if she repented and treated her husband with respect orwhat, but Paul is going to address ways of avoiding doing this again. Idk if there was chatter of ladies or husbands and wives. It is hard not to assume if they were pridfully commiting adultery, maybe they were gosiping or whatever. Maybe it wasn't for learning about God, but some drama that doesn't belong in Church. And lets stop pretending guys don't gossip and husbands a wives don't gossip. So is it really about learning about God that she should do at home. Are those that say that not able to look back chaper at women speaking from God with their heads covered in church? Lastly, about head covering, in genesis noah was made naked by his son Ham, but his other son's covered him. Being clothed and covered is a shame and respect thing from Adam and eve naked in garden because of sin. Now maybe Ham didn't rape his mother. I hope not, but it happened even among christians and a similar thing was going on in that church. So Paul may be following up the letter of the law, not to commit adultery with the spirit of the law to protect our marrages and the sanctity of our comitments to God and each other in marrage and so all family relations in church. That is a big deal. Paul would have made a point to keep others who may have been about to sin like the others in repentance. Its a big deal because my daughter won't speek to me and her husband is eating up those verses and so does their church and she is my only child and they are hating my husband too and they are soooo proud that they are biblically justified and if people would just read it as a whole like you did and all of the evil that has come from it. They also like to say women preachers teach people to being gay is in the marrige design and trans ... every one who our heavenly father has not planted will be plucked out and if any teachers goes out of God's word then they were never in it. Verses like that should humble us alllllll. God bless

Hi everyone, If one reads these verses in context, with principles of exegesis & hermeneutics, the passage being related to was only to do with a single woman and possibly her husband, as she was "domineering" her other half & spouting a false doctrine concerning Adam & Eve. The first half of the chapter concerning different persons was in the plural, whethers The woman Paul was given directions to was in the singular. But what I've found through studying is that now the apostles are gone, the office of Apostles & Prophets is now closed and that now the new testament ( and the bible) is now the final authority, the New Testament congregation has ceased to exist as an organisation. Yahweh actually put a healthy end to the above, but what we see now since the 2nd century AD is a counterfeit. Christianity is a false religion with the new testament mixed with paganism and moral relativism. By the above, I mean because the apostles only had the authority to pick & select elders, who were pastors & bishops simultaneously, no one else was given the above to do so. There are no more congregational meetings anymore, as no one can lead, if that were so, the apostolic office would still be open? But it's gone. What it is now is the "Priesthood of all believers" men and women, saved, born again. God has chosen to work through Christianity, without him initiating the above, as me for example, became born again whilst I was in the Roman Catholic Church. The Bible is replete with God working through adversity & questionable characters without him initiating the above, to fulfill his purposes. Yes, God does work through the many thousands of denominations in existence, but he is also not the author of Confusion. It was only until I received the revelation that Christianity was & is a false system & a counterfeit to the new testament, that I like many others have left. Now, no one has authority over anyone else, but women being priests do teach from the scriptures. They wouldn't be priests otherwise. Men & women are equal in God's eyes.
