Thank you for the video. I think I get your overall points, but I think you have to realize that one can strive for orthopraxy (right actions) and right doctrine (orthodoxy) in an integrated way. Plus, some people's spiritual gifts are doctrine, discernment (Rom 12:7) and the like. They should be allowed to do that in a reasonable way.

Jonathan H I agree I do think we should strive to have both. The problem comes when the overemphasis on theology comes from trying to pride on ones own intellect and showing no fruit in ones day to day life

Lady what you are doing in my opinion is still theology. If we are to make sense of our definition of theology then at the end of the day the things we do like this one is theology. There are just bad theology as there are good ones. I think bad theologies are those that what you refer as the one that distract you from following Christ/ Paul also admonishes Titus that we should avoid foolish controversies and our useless genealogies I think it similar to what you are relating here. Nevertheless we should not downplay theology just because some people are bad at it.

I am not trying to downplay theology here I discussed how it is important in the Christian life. My point is to make sure we are actually practicing our religion and not just talking about it. Many people just spend so much time being divisive and arguing with each other when the harvest is plentiful and the workers are so few. My husband once said "Christians spend more time trying to convert other Christians than they do non-believers" .
