Definitely with Carly on the connections debate. The point of the game is to make connections with the words by using the definitions, spelling, etc. of the words. If you google the definition it doesn’t give you the knowledge of what words it connects to, it just allows you to be able to now have the knowledge you would need to be able to make a possible connection.

I’m with Carly on the connections discussion. Although I don’t look up defs, I think the whole point of the game is to figure out the sort of riddle of each of the categories. Because the objective isn’t to necessarily define each individual word, and more to figure out how they relate in one way or another other through difference reduction (had to look that one up), I think looking up words is okay ◡̈

I agree w Carly! My mom, brother, & I have done connections since like October and we have a group chat and we all look up definitions if we absolutely don’t know what the word is and I don’t think it’s cheating.

I think it’s accidental cheating in case you see the multiple definitions which helps you group and find the connections.. where if you “knew the word” you may still forget one of the definitions

It's really good that you two are confident and grounded in a seemingly superficial town. My insecurity was growing up Korean American in Oklahoma. Now I'm good but back in the 80s it was a little more jarring even though I had lots of great times, friends and experiences. Love listening and getting my young people fix. 😂❤

I say not cheating but very helpful/hint, but then again I play and when idk a word I want to search it up but it feels wrong (as if I’m doing something wrong/cheating?) so I don’t do it and just wing it..

Not sure if Carly and Erin will see this but Love is Blind couples do get paid but have to pay a fine IF they don’t make it to the alter or breakup up without cameras. Also the pods and quarters are just sets, they sleep in hotels that’s why we don’t see film of them getting ready for the day.

I am nowhere near a trivia person but I casually watched the show friends nothing too serious had it in the background while doing homework in school. Well she said she was an expert and there’s no way I could possibly know more then her since it’s her favorite show. Well I’m a competitive person when it comes to her . Regarding connections: the words are so simple, you shouldn’t need to look up definitions. Also, almost every word has multiple meanings, which is the point. There should be multiple ways it could be used and made into a foursome.
