Sure, but those are for low income individuals/families. The brother who asked the question didn't seem to fit in that category. His complaint seemed to be no apartment would sign an agreement with his family size. I'm not sure where he's located but why is he seeking apartment complexes? He could simply rent a single family home or a condo 🤔
@MegaPositivethoughtsАй бұрын
No they don’t. The waiting list for Section 8 is usually closed. Maybe 1-2 days per year, you can enter a lottery to try to get onto the waiting list. By the way, the waiting list is at least 2 years!!!!

Why say it is 'highly doubtful' that apartment complexes won't rent to a family of that size? They have occupancy limits per bedroom. 3 bedroom apartments may not be affordable to this brother (as you also have to provide proof of income). Unnecessary comment, how can you say doubtful on one hand, and then say if you're lying between you and Allah. People come to you for the knowledge Allah has given you, inshaAllah you can exercise more discretion with your words...as you said you don't know.

Honest question, inflation rate is over 3% so if you buy a house at a fixed 3% mortgage rate the bank you'd brake even or even get less money from you at the end of the 30 year lown. If the bank lend you money at 0% then it would be unfair for the bank since the bank would lose money to inflation. Am I missing something?
@roberthannah7983Ай бұрын
No you are not missing anything, bank pays to raise funds, it has expenses, and losses from people who dont pay back.

You’re right that paying interest is not gaining, but the prophet Muhammed peace be upon him did not talk lightly on the topic. Everyone involved (payer, payee, witnesses) are guilty of riba. May Allah forgive us for ever having yo take a conventional loan. Wallah no one wants to pay interest

@@MrHellsing1055 I think people need to apply context on the usurious loans at the time and how it worked. If you try to take a loan in modern financial system, they don’t just give it to you (unless it’s a payday loan = usury).. they do affordability checks etc. Also look at house prices… a house for 50k in the 90s is now worth 200k due to inflation. Similarly a loan taken for 50k with interest added may amount to 150k… so it is all inflationary linked again these Sheikh who are millionaires from KZbin ignore these crucial aspects of finance in the modern world

Question to Sheikh? Do you have a bank account? Do you have a credit card? Please answer these Questions. Otherwise you're not sincere to your Deen! Keeping money in the bank is a bigger SIN than Borrowing money on the basis of interest because of necessity. By keeping money in the Bank you are helping Interest basis banking system to Flourish, likewise credit card. If you do not agree with me then you are qualified to give Fatwa on Finance. You may be a good Mullah to give Fatwa on how to perform Wudu and Salah but not on Finance. If you agree with me then being a Mullah what have you done to change the system? Otherwise you are one of those Mullahs or Rabbis that make their lively hood by selling Fatwas. Sorry for being Harsh but this is the reality.
