Can you please provide the link for the axial rear links that you mentioned at the end of the video, not sure which axial is an 11.4” wheelbase

You can always find this info on our website Shrinkrc.com. Use rod ends (AX31186), upper links (AX31421), lower links (AX31419), and set screws (AX31343) to get a 11.4" wheelbase.

For those 4 lower body screws. I put set screws in mine. Hang the screw out idk what ever you like 2mm. And the body will lightly spread apart grabbing at the lowest part of the doors. Nice truck thank you for sharing

Thank you for the tip. Some of my friends run them that way. Every once in a while their body will pop off if they catch an edge just right, and they just pop it back on. I like to screw the body on snug so that the body and mounts all become an integrated structure. I feel this distributes the load from an impact (from a hard fall) more evenly.

Cannot say enough good about those mounts. Love the 4runner on a Phoenix SA. I kept the roof, chassis doesn't seem to notice the heavy body in comparison to my Phoenix Portal. I'm thinking I may remove the Phoenix body and toss an X-tra cab on it.. lol.

@ShrinkRC Probably a long shot, but any chance there will mounts made for MST chassis? The larger scale chassis all have forward mounted motors..

@@TinyTiresRC no plans for the MST bud. I try to just stick to the main stream available chassis mostly because it takes a long time figure them out. I did make some mounts for the Gmade Buffalo GS02F though, which has a very low and forward motor, and I am thinking of putting a xtracab on it for myself.

Great catch, yes! I’ve done it so many times I didn’t even think about it. I cut a little at a time until I can fully compress the rear axle without the driveshaft binding up.

Look up Mego Toys Al Bundy on eBay. I use 8" figures from Mego and Necca in my trucks. They are alllllmost too big, and usually need the bottoms cut off (this is partly because the seats and floors in the trucks are higher than they should be). But 7" figures are just a little too small to my eye. And my obsessive tendencies means I had to pick one size and go with it hahah
