0:46 Sooo, we need to crowdfund your dining experience there! :D You definitely deserve going there not only for how awesome you are and how much work end time you put into creating content but also considering that you give back to your local community through filling fridges in the area! I mean, if not you, then who!? Having said that, places like Grilled NYC are 100% a much more relatable and achievable spot for most of us here so you don't have to spend 400$ for a dining experience - let's ait till they invite you ;P

$400/person?! That’s insane. Affordable options ALL THE WAY!!

3:58 The extent to which you always work out the best possible spot to film is always very appreciated Rebecca! However, remember that it does not have to be perfect and you don't have to change the place 3 times or excuse yourself for it to not being quiet or with good lighting :D We love these videos anyways!
@margarett_b3 жыл бұрын
5:35 I love they choose really great quality products for their dishes even if it means they they are slightly more expensive for them to make as a result. And they fact they are keeping the burgers etc still affordable is awesome!

I'd also love a more "healthy" spots video or is it hype. Somewhere for nutritious food as there's so many quick bites and nyc classics but more nutritious or health focused seem to be few and far between :)
@bodegacatx3 жыл бұрын
I feel like it’s the opposite? We have sooooo many smoothie and salad spots in NYC with vegan options. That’s why I don’t bother to shoot at them really. But if enough ppl are interested, I might do a few.
@paulywolley3 жыл бұрын
Good call on reviewing a place most of us can afford (but for your sake I hope you get to try Eleven Madison Park, even better by their invitation!). On a tangent, after being reminded about Lekka in your other video I ran over there and of course it was their off day... so I decided to walk over to Jerrell's to try them out and it was their off day too lol! OK, keep up the great content!

I would also like to see more healthy type vegan food restaurants/ menus. I plan to visit NYC one day and would like to know the options there other than fake meat sandwiches and burgers. I just spent 3 days in a city other than mine and only found bean burger options at most restaurants there. Yes, some salads that I could have if they held the cheese but I'm tired of bean burgers and skimpy salads. There is so much more creativity to vegan foods than fake meats. I know you do showcase some places that are creative and would like to see more. I'd also like to see more of your own and your mom's cooking. 😃

what a steal! in my area (Boston suburbs), two vegan sandwiches with fries costs like $25

In Colombia they stuff their arepas with carne desmechada or shredded meat so it’s not a weird combo at all, can’t wait to try one day

3:00 This looked so so good! And I mean, 27$ still seems like a lot to me but NYC is an expensive place in general so compared to the average, it really isn't that bad! Plus, how cute are these minty trays and all the colorful wrappers?!
@justinejulia68733 жыл бұрын
Comes out to $5.40 per item if you take the $27 divided by the five things she got, which for restaurant style burgers and sandwiches, especially vegan, doesn't seem too bad! Obviously some were more and less expensive, but I just decided to find the mean since it is easiest.

My white Australian ass didn't know what arepas were and had to google it lol but that looked good and also easier to eat! Imagine the breakfast sandwich on those, mmmm. Also you just were like GOODBYE FRIES

I've heard that Madison Eleven is like $300 or $400 dollars a person WITHOUT wine!!! I can't imagine what it is with wine - and no way I would eat such a fancy meal without wine, which is frankly the best part :) If anyone here has actually been or knows someone who has, I'd be curious what the story is - how expensive is it and how is the food?
