You should be a virgin until your wedding night, no matter how old you are. My late wife and I married at age 30 both as virgins. Yes, being faithful Roman Catholics was important to us in our decision. Some things are worth the sacrifice and it gave us 26 years together before she died. After she died I went back to abstaining from sex. She died when we were 56. I am now 66.
