Trinny sparked a debate last week, after posting a video online where she seemingly advocated keeping labels on clothes in order to return them after you’ve worn them. Although Trinny now says this was meant in jest for the purpose of the video, it certainly got people talking. Our consumer editor Alice Beer says that, although this practice isn’t technically illegal, she believes it is harmful to the high street, other customers and the environment. Whereas serial returner Nilufer Atik doesn’t see any issue, and regularly buys outfits for events with the intention of returning them after. Both join us to debate the issue.
