yes i totally agree! i have her skin type basically with the dryness and acne and even fine lines (my 16 year old self goes through a loooooot of stress haha) and like in this video even i can see that her skin isn't perfect but she still looks beautiful! it makes me feel more confident in myself and on days when i feel like my makeup looks like shit because of my skin i remember her and feel better. sam, thank you so much for making your videos and owning your skin; it's so inspiring to a lot of us!! keep doing what you're doing love

I agree. When it first goes on, it looks nice, but the flakes & racoon eyes ruin it for me. It literally flakes off completely & looks like I have nothing on my lashes. Also, there's a Stila mascara in a gold tube which is pretty much the same like better than sex, so avoid that one, too.

Honestly to me the Modern Renaissance palette is incredible. I thought it was over hyped like every other palette I got lured into purchasing until I actually got it. Hi Sam :-) Totally 100% agree about the crazy hype around the whole LaMer brand. It is a petroleum based brand..!?? That a cheap ingredients in brands as Loreal. Thats totally crazy for that prize!! Even their skincare has petroleum and silicone as their first ingredients and down in the ingredients list even -aluminium WTF???! They have a "unique patented ingredient" - and is a so small amount in every product and that small amount can´t give any skincare results based on that it is so much bad ingredient in their for example foundation. For the quality of shadows and how many shadows are in a palette it is worth the money. I don't care about similar colors and what not. It's still cheaper to buy them instead of making your own palette anywhere else.

Jessaleigh Yeah they are good for the price but I find they fade a lot on me! Like I'll do a really orange look using the 35O and within 20 minutes the pigment fades and it looks like I've just used warm browns so for me it's good for the money but not good enough to wow me on it's own!

OliviaMakesUpStyle, I don't have problems with them fading and I've never tried their goat hair brushed. I mean Morphe isn't my favorite shadow wise. I love their brushes I have. But if you are on a budget and can't afford High end it's the road to take.

I totally agree with how over-hyped liquid lipsticks are. Honestly I feel like I have so much more control with a normal lipstick. Plus my liquid lipsticks always end up balling up through out the day & I don't roll like that.

NARS creamy concealer was one of the first high end concealers I tried because of all the hype and I just don't get it. I don't like it much but maybe it's because of the color I chose. My favorite is UD naked skin concealer. Now that one is bomb. 👌🏽

Fuck La Mer, dude. That brand has some balls. I will never pay that much for a moisturizer when the second two ingredients are petroleum derivatives, which are the cheapest ingredients in skincare, after water. It also contains irritants, like eucalyptus oil. Hell no.
