There are two things. Quran doesn’t mention women having to be virgins. Neither does it mention that of the man. What if the Muslim MAN who marries a Christian woman is not a virgin. He deserves a chaste woman when he is not chaste himself? No. I don’t think a man who has slept around is deserving of a woman who saved herself. No matter the religion. Its based on moon sightng in the area u live rather than what other countries are doing. So u can have a moon sighting in one country because skies are clear and the moon is visibly there or in another country there may be a moon but conditions might not make it easily seen. But for convenience or unity sake a lot of countries usually follow Saudi.

only the women of the earlier book believed in the coming of the last prophet Rasulullah Muhammad SAW along with the Koran, and the women of the people of the book accepted Islam and believed in Rasulullah as the last prophet and accepted the Koran and the creed.. if they don't accept all of that they are still Christian then A Muslim can't marry her if she remains a disbeliever.. People of the Bible are still infidels. It's Is Better. If Muslim Men Respect Their Parents But As Far As Taking Permission Are Concern For Parents Is Not Compulsory. But It Optional (For Men) And He Should Consider Their Opinion If They Don't Say Anything Which Contradict With Islam. If The Saying Of Parent's Contradict With Islam. The Ruling Is He Can't Accept Or Follow Their Opinion. If Parents Of Some Muslim Say That Marry With Hindu Because She Is Wealthy Then He Not Follow That Ruling Because Marrying With Hindu It Is Forbidden.
