Dr.dharius said in a sermon, we must take a comprehensive look at scripture and apply it to our cultural context! He needs to be reminded that Marriages were once arranged…which they aren’t today, also the Bible said nothing about “dating” but we do it today…It’s possible that some pple want to purposely misinterpret scripture & that’s on them..

Those were their failures and weaknesses. The failings were included to help us with our spiritual walk; to show us that even those men who God called great, who loved the Lord, were chosen, even they struggled with carnal and sinful nature. We are meant to take courage and not give up in our pursuit of righteousness and living according to God's will. We are meant to learn from their mistakes to. David wasn't doing what he was supposed to be when he saw the woman bathing on the roof and it lead to adultery and murder. This goes to show you have to be so careful who's voice you listen to, open yourself up and allow to influence you even passively like scrolling through social media or listening to music . This is how the enemy subtly confuses and manipulate people and then gets them to sow that false seed to others. Notice he didn't say the bible isn't real etc, cause lots of people would just dismiss him, but this is the cunning snake like moves of the enemy. The Holy Spirit isn't the one working through this guy - well definitely not then. "You will know them by their fruits" this isn't not good fruit. This is a moldy blueberry that will contaminate all those around it.
