You can do better at The Shakedown. Shoot the last window while you're close to an exit of the mall, then quickly exit. The cutscene don't occur and wanted levels are still there.

Thank you! I knew there had to be some way for that one and you're right! I left the mall immediately and still had the 5 wanted stars, but needed to make it back to the mall before the mission timer ran out. The timing is extremely tight, but with a helicopter I did manage to get enough police bribes to make this just 1 wanted star instead of 5.

For the tech issues in the beginning, go into task manager, go to details, right click on the VC executable, set affinity, and make sure only CPU 0 is selected. This works for all three games in the trilogy.

Also for anyone having same issues with mouse at 0:44 I remember that there was a fix for San Andreas in which you open task manager>details>right click on GTA>set affinity>and then you check only 1 box preferably CPU0. Maybe it would work in GTA VC also since they're on the same engine

Cone crazy still works on pc, however only depending if you beat a new record, so usually finish the first round with 0 seconds left, second with 1, third with 2 etc.

So, the cone crazy thing isn't with each successful attempt. It is with each new record. So you wait til 0 seconds are on the clock and then succeed. For the first handful of "levels" the circles give less and less time. I believe they start with 10 seconds each and reduce by 1 second each successful attempt. Locking at 5 seconds per ring. At that point you need to increase your victory time by 1 second to break your record. Before the rings get locked at 5 seconds, since they were decreasing, ending at 0 always was a new record since the total time you were getting was less. When the circles get locked to 5 seconds, the second time you do it with them at 5 seconds you have to end the mission at 1 second. The next one at 2 seconds. I believe the WR is with 13 or 14 seconds remaining, but, far before then, you have tons of money. Getting to 6-7 seconds remaining gives you millions. IDK anything about the PC Port, so maybe you knew all this already, but I just felt like yapping and explaining in more detail.

1:03 You already made the video so not much you can do Now, but for both Vice City and GTA3, there are reversed engineered version that fix all of your issues, they were taken down, but there are archives somewhere but i can't share s link, if you do one for GTA3 i suggest downloading it to make your playthrough way easier! Trust me, it'll help you out a lot with GTA 3.

Yeah sadly the only way to make it look normal is with mods OR by having black bars on the sides of the screen. After finishing the GTA games I will go back to games with normal aspect ratios lmaooo

What about beating the Stories games (Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories) without any wanted stars? Also, the reason why tank pushing didn't work for you at first is because you had the frame limiter on, if you turn it off, then you can push the tank, or just about any vehicle for that matter. Also, if you have Hyman Condo, you can just save the tank there lol And it Cone Crazy isn't really nerfed on PC, it just requires a more specific setup to get it to work properly and print money

Yes! I've never played those, but I love the 3D GTA games and people have mentioned them so It's possible I'll do those in the future. My only plan for this challenge rn is to do 3 and then 6 when that comes out so if I do lcs and vcs it probably won't be right away, but I wanna get to them at some point.
