Something about giant empty landscapes like this makes me feel a certain way I can't describe. It reminds me of when people found massive landscapes outside the map of shadow of the colossus. the purpose for a lot of the out of bound area is simply to have a backdrop so that if your looking out from lets say the top of death mountian it is meant to look like there is more than just hyrule and yes it takes that much space to make it convincing. now the "infinite" ocean I'm pretty sure is a bug as a result of the world trying to constantly change the water textures and an attemp to do it in such a way that doesnt seem like a grid pattern. another part of that is later the day night cycle dynamic textures

Idk what's more surprising: the sheer size of the area outside of the map, or the fact that there is arbitrarily collision that far out

I've recently started playing BoTW after having it for years and I must say it's a one of a kind experience. Seeing how you and other people in the comm just SMASH this game to pieces is just so cool to me. Kudos, my friend.

Do not support Mety333. He recently accused ThornyFox of copying his ideas, making identical thumbnails, and stealing all his viewers. This can easily be debunked just by comparing their channels. Mety is spreading false info. He wants all the viewers for himself, even at the expense of other TotK creators. Spread the word!!
