If you put it in normal suspension mode, it’s perfectly comfortable.

I’ve been waiting for this review! Hyundai really have set the bar for an engaging, high performance EV. I’m 100% sure that all other manufacturers have no choice but to follow and emulate what Hyundai have done with this simulated gearbox. I have never considered buying an EV until this.. well done Hyundai 👏🏻 How is the build quality of the interior David?

David, you should check out the Pikes Peak racing with different setups including this one with a roll cage. This left the Tesla record in the dust because from bottom across 10 miles up the mountain it never once got too warm and performed astonishing well with no limitations in its power delivery. It truly is, an inexpensive, compared to Tycan, track focused set up that isn’t for everyone, but I concur with your conclusion that it is fun. 18:29

You do get the body movement when you shift. You just have to floor it.

I'd wait to buy an EV for around eight years. TMC has not yet perfected the battery technology.

This is the vegan meat version of a car. If you gonna drive EV then enjoy the features of an EV (quiet, no shifting, insta torque, etc) if you want something that drives and sounds like an ICE car, there are plenty of ICE cars out there. The rev sounds like a video game car trying to get a car sound.

The instant torque, seamless acceleration and near silence of an electric vehicle is what is so appealing to me.

Of all the major EV brands, only Tesla takes advantage of the EV system to provide you with maximum room.

Primarily since they're concerned with reinventing everything for the sake of an engineering project to go against the grain. The result of the extra space? You get a frunk. Most of the other established manufacturers don't need to reinvent a 4 way valve to direct the cooling (or heating) for the battery, so they utilize the space under the hood to use 2 of them, one for the battery the other for the cabin. Yes it takes up more space but it allows them to focus on addressing actual problems. Like paint quality, panel fitment, QC to ensure brake reservoir caps are installed or the frame isn't cracked during assembly...
