Great video man, I'm more into classic trucks personally... but at 27 years old I still whip a 1973 f250 that I've restored over the years...... I'm also currently restoring a 72 bronco, love these old classics and they all make me smile seeing them still on the road.

Once someone sparks an interest into an automobile whether it’s an Audi a5 or an Oldsmobile 442, it’s no longer a 3 ton piece of metal with wheels. It’s a deep intertwined connection. Most often you’ll find perfection in imperfections that only the person can see. That is something special only car guys will notice and behold.

As a 21 year old classic car owner I can 100% attest to the sentiment classic cars give you. My 1969 Mustang and all other classic cars like yours are more than "just a car" they are all products of amazing design, engineering, and craftsmanship. One of the most amazing things about my Mustang (besides it being a fantastic drive) is actually in its original shop manuals I bought for the car, the amazing hand drawn pictures on how to fix every part of the car still amazes me every time I look at it. The illustrations in the shop manual and many other shop manuals from the time are so detailed, well shaded, and simply beautiful just like the cars themselves. my advice to aspiring classic car owners, do your research on the classic you intend on buying, make sure the parts for your car are plentiful, make sure the engine in that car is known for its reliability and ease of maintenance, and finally do a thorough check for major rust or issues before buying it. I love your video Keeping it Ezzy, keep it up!
@keepinitezzy
@keepinitezzy 15 күн бұрын
Thank you for such a wonderful comment 🙏. Couldn’t agree more, back when I made classic car reviews it would always be very easy for me to study what each dial on the dash did as those manuals would explain everything to even the most minute of marks. Many thanks for the advice, will keep those in mind when buying a classic some day ☺️

@@keepinitezzy One more piece of advice, a lot of people when they get a classic car are very dead set on modernizing every part of the car. In my experience the closer you keep it to factory the more reliable it will be. Points ignition and Carburetors especially people jump the gun to upgrade, in my experience they are both extremely reliable systems so long as you tune them right and check on them once or twice a year. Also don't let the car sit for more then 3-4 months without running it, these cars have no preoiling systems and become close to bone dry after a few months of sitting causing wear when you start it up again. The more often you drive these cars the longer they last. The best channel for classic car advice is Uncle Tony's Garage. Hope this helps and keep up the amazing videos!

Hell yes, finally my algorithm pushes me towards likeminded people. That's a great car and a great great Story you told in this Video! It makes me happy, seeing younger people like myself, still admiring and appreciating older cars, especially pre 90s cars. While my parents weren't interested in cars, my Grandfather was and I grew up driving as a passenger in his 1988 E34 525i and 1991 Mercedes CE230 C124, which i happened to own for 2 years after he passed away, unfortunately the car wanted to follow him, so I no longer own it. I remember back in my younger years, I've always dreamed of american classics. Chevelles, Chargers, Challengers etc.. I watched Smokey and the Bandit together with my dad and recorded it on VHS Tape when I was a kid. I still have my Hotwheels-Collection from back in the day in the shelf behind me. Cars create stories, create people, create friendships. 1 Year with my car, unforgettable memories, dozens of pictures, videos, friends, bonds, and experiences.... it's incompareable to many other hobbies imo. I'm 28 now, and I've always dreamed of owning a pre 90s Muscle Car or American Classic. One year ago this dream came true and I bought myself one of my absolute dream cars. A 1972 Buick GS455 in Tripple Black. I hope you can also afford your dreamcar one day, buy it, drive it, enjoy it! You'll have a whole nother experience than just lending a car. Best wishes from Germany!

Something I've learned from my automotive journey is that it's never "Just a car". People build real and long-lasting experiences with these tools that the average person would just see as something to get from point A to B. They hold such a profound sentimental value and the cars in themselves hold personality. Muscle cars, for example, are a mobile drama. When you put your foot down, it doesn't just move; it charges, snarling as it itches closer to the redline just to gasp for air with the next gear change just to go right back to roaring without skipping a beat. We could also look at classic cars; they are simplistic yet elegant. Perfect for that leisurely drive that transports you back to a time when things weren't always fast-paced. For you, it was that drop-dead gorgeous Chevy; for me, it was the Mustang. For someone else, it may have been a Koenigsegg 0ne:1 or even the mighty munchkin that is the BMW Isetta. It's a tremendous video, I loved every minute of it, and I will be staying tuned for any new content.

I love your story about your childhood dream car and also for me, I fell in love with classic cars from the 1970s,1980s,1990s, or even 2000s. for me, my favorite classic car would be the Mercedes 190E Evolution 2 the only reason why I love that Mercedes is because of the German touring car racing from the 1980s and 1990s and the rival of the BMW E30 M3 at the race track, also the classic cars is part of our memories lifetime. Also, I wish I had learned to drive a car if I had a driver's license so I would be able to drive a car on public roads.

Thanks for the comment, and very happy to hear from a fellow 190E enjoyer. Currently at the top of my list of dream rides is a 190E as well, either 2.3 or 2.5 I really don’t mind (although an Evo 1, a 3.2 AMG, or a 3.6 Brabus would be plentiful). Really such underrated cars and from what I heard very enjoyable to drive as well.

according to the official definition of a classic car a classic needs to be more than 20 years old meaning a Ford Taurus from 2005 is a classic but that's not what a classic car should be not to me and not to many who read this. A classic car is a feeling, something that cannot be described using words. It is a passion or an understanding of a time before our own, it's not about speed luxury or comfort. Something that doesn't have to hold up to modern standards. because it's more than just numbers on a spread sheet. It's more than what engine it has it's more than one modern people can even imagine a car to be... Because a classic car is a feeling. A classic car... Is nostalgic. thanks for reading. as the proud owner of a 1978 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'elegance. This video hit extremely close to home, down to the "love at first sight" bit, and it honestly made me cry a little especially being a Gen Z. Connecting to cars for what they are instead of what they can do. If you did read this final message once again thank you, and comment beet root to let me know you liked it. :)

I see every car with a personality just like all of us, I see them as breathing, feeling machines, and I really don't care what people may think or say. I have such a attachment to our car, not because it's a Camaro, but because there's so much of a story behind it's looks, and because my deceased grandfather had the same exact car as we have right now, except his was a Z28 and most likely a older 3rd gen. Ah to be honest where I’m from it’s not far different. Import taxes are insane here, the price of a new Camry hybrid here would get you a very decent Porsche in Sydney 🤣

Hello. Hmmm…could you be possibly referring to the dashboard panel in front of the passenger side? Interesting thing I’ve noticed is that it says “Chevrolet” on the Chevrolet Bel Air from the same year, while on the Impala its model name is written (Both cars are indeed similar in terms of looks). Hope this helps 👍.

Thank you, definitely will have a lot of adventures while I still can. Hope you'll get whatever car you're looking for (rooting for the Chevrolet 🙌)
