Is it really necessary to lap Element optics accu-lite scope rings?? what!!

In this video i do a pretty detailed experiment on my new Tikka T3 CTR 308 and a set of brand new Element Optics Accu-lite scope rings. Results may surprise you 🤔
It would be very interesting to compare the results with other quality scope rings.
What's your experience with lapping or NOT lapping scope rings?

The Best is to Lap and Glue in the Scope Rings for Benchrest Shooting.

In my opinion it's important that the rings and scope fit properly together and in at setup with out any tention. After that is sorter, glue could be an option for some shooters. Altho I have never hat the need for it myself 👍

Should you lap the rings in the exact same place on the rail that they and the scope will exactly sit🤔

That would be my choice. But if it's a straight and good quality one piece rail I can't imagine it NOT being a good result either way. But if you know where your scope is gonna sit, you might as well lappe them in that spot 👍
