The EPC light has now come on while I was test driving and there seems to be even more damage under the front bumper. It looks like this car wasn't a bargain after all. hi , nice job so far, looking forward to seeing it to the end. I went down the eBay route with a painted pattern wing on my wife's old 206. Spray job was brilliant matched the rest of the car once I t'cut and polished it, but the pattern part showed up like a sore thumb. We kept the car a further 5 years before selling it on. Hope you finish it off soon and get 'er down the road

You can’t expect to get top money for salvage cars if it books at 7 k straight on auto trader the realistic value is about 4k unless it’s super low mileage and repaired with genuine parts to factory standards

Never had much luck with colour matching panels, top tip is the darker the colour, the better. Problem with white is there seem to be so many shades😊

Motors looking tidy .. yeah theres a notorious company based in Scotland. Who sell painted panels that are the wrong colour. Good luck though

I've never had any luck with painted to order parts. It's always the colour rather than the quality of the part. That's why I started painting myself now if I can't get the parts in colour. Another one that's becoming a money pit. If that fella doesn't refund you, I would take him to the small claims court.

bad crack with the wing supplier holding up the refund on the wings. ive also fallen for the "oh we'll replace them etc, then its too late to start a case., sneaky fukrs. Great channel, honest and helpful. im doing a honda jazz , bought from copart as cat N but obviously a cat S, so its needing to get pulled... bad choi ce on my part but live n learn. spares are also crazy expensive for it...............great !.Anyway........ Log book paid by postal order is £28, and I aways send it by 1st class signed for costs just under £7 plus envelope. So a log book cost me easy £35 plus no post office in my town. So have to drive 10miles. Even cheap cars, ain't cheap!
