I asked in this video White people about the safety and we can clearly see diverse opinions between man and women but overall the safety seems good!

My friends in Surrey have extra security due to thefts of homes. I nearly got punched in Brighton by a drunk in the evening so you need to be alert. A friend had her flat robbed in London when she was home. She stupidly refused to give her watch. They beat her up so hard she needed surgery on her face. So it seems beware of drunks; and put extra security in your home.

I live in Basildon Essex a satellite 'New Town' of London in the south east, I wouldn't say that as a man I feel unsafe, I am prepared to do what is necessary to protect myself, but I would suspect that many women do feel uneasy when walking in public even through the main Town Centre, over the past 2 decades or so there has been a massive increase in the immigrant population where the ratio between Eastern Europeans, Blacks, Asians and Middle Eastern has drastically changed; during the early 2000's there was a massive influx of Blacks from the East End of London where deals were done between East Ham, West Ham, Tower Hamlets etc with Basildon Council to relocate their predominately black population, I wonder why?, but over the past decade or so there has now been a massive increase in the Eastern European population in particular and with a fair increase in the Asian and Middle Eastern population's. Crime in the town is at a high level and to be frank this can be mostly attributed to these populations, that's not to say that White British people don't commit crimes, but not to the extent as these immigrants do, I can only state that this must be due to a lack of spoken or written English, hence poor or no job opportunities, and an obvious lack of respect for this country and it's social, moral and ethical values which are in decline regardless!. Many of these immigrants still want to live their 'lifestyles' completely as they did 'back home' and yet they left their homelands to either escape poverty, persecution, tyranny etc but still bring these issues and problems with them, we are therefore expected to tolerate this unacceptable situation whilst our lifestyles become impacted and worsen as a result. This also applies Nationally and yet our 'Government' does practically nothing to abate this except to appease and placate these populations and the extremist's amongst them who are mostly Islamic/Muslim! Now doesn't that say a lot?!

really weird seeing this comment.im from Laindon but moved to Manchester 20 years ago-a real multicultural place..jus moved back to Basildon this year and said to my uncle how diverse it was around here now,growing up here my family were one of thee only black familys around.being mixed raced i was quite proud to see the progression in diversity n peoples opinions as i can safely say growing up in essex with some of the plain straight up racist's my family did was horrible. Cant say the crime rate has gone up though ,its the same s#=t hole its always been ,if woman feel "unsafe" around "coloured people of different cultures" that says more about them and their supposed "culture" ,mind frame than anything- they should educate themselves, its down to you to educate your children /wives just as much as it is for immigrants to assimilate into our culture. prioritise education over your misperceived threat of immigrants when this whole country was founded supported and held together over the last 600 years because of them.you focus on a small ,minority and say its the whole picture..that is wrong. i personally look forward to the future cultures that will arise from the mixture of cultures now living together around here in our multicultural country-as it always has.its what makes Britain "GREAT"

@898W0NG That's fine. I encourage that. But there's one culture/religion that DOES NOT blend. Why invite in people that, when they become a majority will force their religion and culture on you? Then this multiculturalism you look forward to doesn't come about, does it? Welcome them in under the banner of tolerance and diversity only for them to have zero tolerance for you? That's bonkers.

@898W0NG My messages auto deleted as usual. 5th time lucky. I5lam will NOT respect your romantic view of diversity and multiculturalism. It's literally the objective of their religion. They DO NOT tolerate other religions or cultures. Inviting them in under the banner of tolerance multiculturalism and diversity will seal the fate of exactly those things. You say "educated yourselves", well I encourage you to do the same about the religion of peace.

Believe it or not crime levels have been falling since the early 90s. It is far safer today but the media and social media make us think there is more crime because we can hear about bad things and learn about things happening that we wouldn't have heard before.

I don't believe that. The amount of drug addict on the streets now. Plus the illegal migrates on the streets made it more dangerous. The worst part is that the criminals are being protected.

Everyone is safe until they are not. I am in my seventies, I was followed home by a man when I was 15 in the UK. I was flashed by a man walking home from school with my 9 year old sister. It's nothing new. Just more of it.

Well, conservative politicians are stoking racial fears and nationalism in order to accumulate support. The Chinese government (CCP) is doing the same exact thing. Putin is doing it. Hitler did it. And Republican politicians in the US are doing it. It works. For example, right now, they are disseminating the narrative that New York is being overwhelmed with crime. If you look at the stats though, New York has less crime than many Southern states combined despite the higher population density. Propaganda works.
