No i think the question in the video is according to the title, but the sheikh misheard and thus answered a different question from what the person asked. The person did not say perfect salah, but rather shorten and hasten his salah to meet a person or do work.

Salam Sheik! That was NOT the questions asked: The caller asked, "Is it appropriate for someone to shorten their Salat to get to work, or to meet with someone?" What is the ruling of someonewho "shortens" his salat for dunya related reasons (work, non worship reasons).

V A L I D Got it? Or do you want a pat in the back, with a motherly voice repeating confirmations of only "it's okay, it's totally okay" without any context/teaching? I.e. Sharia????? Meanwhile, to shorten the Prayer = to rush/to not prolong it. Here, "Shorten" =/= Al-Kasr Val-Jam'u Because it has a WHOLE OTHER set of Rulings, Criteria, etc. Edit: But do please correct me if I'm wrong.... Did I get it wrong too? Btw, I did not understand what the part - "is it a sign of......" a sign of what? Riya?? It was not clear. Hence, why Sheikh asked whether if he was doing it to impress this "other person"... He probably assumed it was "Riya" too. 🤷‍♀️👀

@@kingh3714 Which "shorten" are you refering to? Shortening as in, القصر ? (1) (lile in the Qasr Va Jam'u Sala') Or Shorten as in (2) hastening the Sala'/rushing to finish the Sala'/the opposite of "lengthening" the Sala'? The (1) is out of the question, for OBVIOUS reasons. The question itself will become illogical & misplaced. It is not connecting to the content of the question. So, if it were the (1)st meaning of "shorten", it won't make sense at all. Hence, why I believe the Sheikh answered within the contex of "shorten" as in, "rushing to finish". Which was why he was enforcing, "as long as he is completed the Sala' in full satisfaction & PERFECTED it". Qasr Val Jam'u was NEVER in question. (Not in this context.) Or maybe I got it wrong.... it was only my opinion & understanding of the answer. والله أعلم!

Seemed to me that the questioner himself didn't clarify what was he confused about.. People should write the question to ChatGPT and tell it to rephrase it if needed, and to check if it even makes sense, or maybe translate from their language to english, so they not waste time..
