I've just discovered Chris Cooking Nashville. His carnivore brioche recipe sound wonderful

Lindsey, thanks so much for trying it out and featuring the recipe! You did great, and I’m sure with a bit more egg that Ninja will work great! Try getting your butter a little hotter to avoid the breaking and it will probably work better too in that Ninja! Really appreciate you and all your videos! 😊 Chris

I just tried Chris's mayo. It really worked! He also said the butter should be 140°F.

I was listening to Anita at Ketogenic Woman when she was doing Chris' mayo. So I hopped over there and have been amazed at some of his recipes. I still haven't made home made mayo yet. I go through spells of eating mayo and then I don't so I question if I would be wasting ingredients to make something that I won't finish before it spoils. But I will do it someday.

Catching up on some of your older videos! Never made butter before. I have made the Mayo before from 2 Krazy Ketos recipe!

While this did work, I definitely stick to my original recipe I’ve been making since the beginning… It always turns out properly for me with minimal work!

Thanks for trying this. With Anita trying it and you and both turn out! Chris has come up with a winner! And you make me laugh!

When I'm making mine i use Carolyn at homesteading family's suggestion to add ferment liquid so it lasts so much longer and don't have to make as often. Just add a T of your yogurt whey or juice from a ferment (i love using kimchi juice😊) per recipe and let it sit on counter at least 6 hours before putting in fridge. ❤

I tried a fermented butter/avocado oil mayo. It tasted great! It also lasts a couple of months and since I don’t use it very fast it is convenient

I think I’m going to try Chris's recipe next time I need to make mayo. I've been using Serious Keto's recipe which includes pasteurizing the eggs. It keeps much longer in the fridge, which is a plus for me. Thanks for the interesting experiment. ❤️🥰❤️

Love this, you are so funny! I need to try his recipe and yours. I have never been a fan a mayonnaise, Miracle Whip is what I always used pre-keto. Trying to like avocado mayo is tough, so gotta try others for sure. Thanks for sharing this and all your other videos.

Ha I just made mayo too. I have a feeling it's gonna break in the frig but who knows. I did avocado oil with an immersion blender.

just a minor consideration - about *raw* egg whites for anyone is concerned about the below data… I am a huge fan of raw egg yolks and gently cooked egg whites “Some people may also experience hair loss and brittle fingernails. Even though deficiency of biotin is rare, consuming raw egg whites for a prolonged period of time (many weeks to years) has been shown to result in biotin deficiency.”

Thank you for that tidbit! I wasn’t aware egg whites could have that effect on some!

I'm not sure if you will check comments on older videos, but I would like to contribute. Been binge watching butter mayo recipes and you managed to make it really fun and I have to thank you for that. About the recipe, since I watched a ton of them, I will share my findings. So far, the best video recipe i have seen was from "Indigo Nili - butter mayo **the trick to keep it soft in the fridge!**" which references another person but look it up and good luck. Also, don't stop making fun content.

Fun fact that I’ve probably shared before. 😂 My ancestors invented mayonnaise. It comes from the island of Minorca and named after the city of Mahon. Mahon-aise is from mahon like hollandaise is from Holland.

Is that "air blender" disk meant to incorporate actual air? I'm wondering if it might over whip, or over aerate the mixture..hmm. Love experimenting. So fun~ unless I get mad at myself for wasting ingredients. I'm getting better about that these days.=)

Chris stresses that the butter must be really hot. You left it to cool. I did the same with the first batch I tried and it didn't work. Since then I've added it as soon as I take it from the microwave and it's perfect every time.
