Yes it is worth saving dogs that need care. What's the point of rescuing animals if we don't give them a second chance in life!! I agree with Victor giving animals that need help, love and care. Please do not divert or corrupt the situation. Victor has a good heart and kind to animals beyond compare. I salute you Victor. You are a gem. Hope there are more people like you!!! Salute!!!

Of course it is worth it to try and save dogs barely hanging on. I donate because of what you do! I am so grateful for what you all do for strays, neglected and abused. I have adopted every dog or cat I have had the last 40 years including a3 legged dog. We need to help these animals heal and fingers loving patient homes! How human don’t help I will never understand. I wish I could donate more but I live in the US and drive a 20 yr old car, am on social security. I have 3 Rat Terriers and they live the life of luxury. I make sure they get all their shots, dewormed, go to the vet it they act like something is wrong. are fed good food, they are spayed and neutered. They play in my yard, I walk them and they sleep in bed with me. It costs a lot to care for my dogs and they are healthy.I know there is no shortage os homeless animals and I encourage everyone to donate to a good shelter and adopt! You are all saints! Please keep doing what you do❤❤❤

Jedes „Damaged“ Tier ist es wert, gerettet zu werden. Natürlich!!! Schließlich haben sie ihren schrecklichen Zustand NICHT verursacht, sondern grausame Menschen. Die Augen sagen so viel . Ich wunder mich immer wieder über das Vertrauen der Tiere. Wenn ich das Tier wäre, würde ich nur noch um mich beißen. Meine ganz große Hochachtung für alle, die sich einsetzen und trotz Stress so liebevoll sind. Mit Geld kann man den Einsatz gar nicht bezahlen❤❤

When questioning the saving of these badly abused animal souls people should recall that some 85 years ago the Nazis were asking mental health staff and staff who worked with disabled children to choose which should be sent to the gas chambers to purge society of what they considered to be lesser beings. For centuries our fellow animals, especially domesticated ones have been treated as less important than us. While I would myself save a drowning child before the dog at its side I would try to save both. I would rather live in a society that, as far as possible, extends the chances of recovery and rehabilitation to abused, abandoned animals just as we do to fellow humans. Thank you to all the rescue charities that do so much on our behalf to bring kindness and caring into our world.

Isn't their life worth it too? We save people's lives that have been badly damaged, and I don't think at times that they are worth it, because it's humans that cause the suffering of these poor animals!! When they want to live, they are ALWAYS worth it, and an animal doesn't give up ever, they keep struggling to survive.

a rescue is there to rescue, not judge. if the dog is in such bad shape then the kindest thing he can do is to rescue it and give it the last act of kindness, (euthenize) then so be it. sometimes the only rescue we can do is to release it from its pain and send it to a better place. a dog like this needs him even more than others in better health. he might heal him and find him a home, he might have to send him on to a better place. either way, it's a job well done.

Of cource these damaged dogs deserve a second chance, but it is still a valid question. Less damaged dogs also need a second chance. And as the vet said: when it is this bad, its more suffering and higher cost. As for any organisation, it comes down to economics. On one hand, the cost of treating a very sick dog - maybe also even in vain - could cover the treatment for a multitude of lesser sick dogs, who also need medication before going to a forever home. On the other hand, I would guess these very dire cases generates far more regarding donations than of a plump, healthy puppet who just need a check-up. And those donations leave means for the check-up on that puppy too. And its the donations that in the end keep the organisaton going.

It’s not if they are worth it or not, but how much should they suffer while waiting to improve a little? How can you evaluate this for such damaged dogs. Is this girl damaged by her previous owner, or just from being a stray. Please comment on your idea of these dogs health and well being versus the pain they go through trying to get better.😊😊. I feel so bad watching them, so it would help to know if you are trying y Pp to help dogs who really suffer through rehab. Or do they have a chance to be really healed?
