Great setup! I have been through lots of arrow brands and the last two years the Victory Vap SS arrows with MfJJ titanium inserts at 454 grains with lighted nocks going 300 ft second will be staying for years to come. I could go 505 grains and way cheaper for inserts and sleeves but this setup does everything I need it to. I definitely want to shoot the newest Elite bows, I have not had a chance yet. I shot Elite back in the day. Good luck this year.

Shooting the Elite Kiaros. Smaller draw length. First time shooting Elite and I can say it is so smooth and dead in the hand. Absolutely love it. As a smaller draw length guy I agree 100% in a longer axel to axel. Would not shot anything under 32”. Holds so much better and better string angle.

@@TRC1989Extend his draw length? Everyone I’ve watched says they have to shorten their draw length with the UV button. UV even did a video explaining why the neck is so long so they could validate people shortening their DL 🤔

Jack, have you tried putting a small oring on your limb stops? I put an oring on mine to soften the wall and prevent that bounce at full draw…it feels incredible, and a fantastic way to stabilize my fast draw in a hunting situation without being forced to use the string stops ❤

I've messed with them in the past, but sometimes they broke or popped off. I found the Elite stops to be soft enough for me without the addition!

Currently I shoot a prime Nexus 4 and couldn't agree more about people shooting longer bows. The only time I could see a need for a bow shorter than 33 inches is out of small ground blind My next bow will either be a shootdown pro or a exalt.

Even if I didn't need the balance, I would always shoot a back bar to rest it on my thigh. It helps my arm fatigue so much.

I would be curious to see what kind of FOC you have with that arrow setup? My arrow setup is the Gold tip Airstrike. 300 spine 50 grain steel half out and collar I can run a 150 grain head and be right at 495 or a 125 and be right at 470 the 470 is giving me right at 16% FOC the 495 I have just about 18%. Will be my first time running Gold Tip have usually used the Victory RIP tko or the Orion from Sirius. Good luck out there

Really interested in an Elite bow....hung up on the Omnia or the ethos. Currently shooting a mathews triax but im not a fan of the draw on the new mathews at 28" draw.

Where and How do you tie your Hamskea cord to the limb?

I actually have my cord on the Ethos tied off to the axle. Plenty of room on the right side shim. But usually I use the limb pad and a cinch knot about 2-2.5" in from the limb tip. That goes for most bows.

Why did you decide to go with the longer 4" vanes rather than the shorter 2" blazer type vanes?

3" Q2i vanes. Well, as a shop owner, I like to try a whole bunch of different things so I can more than just anecdotal proof that things work - I like to actually have experience with them. Used Blazers for years with lots of proof on the wall to show for it. Been having a lot of interest in my shop for longer, shield cut vanes, so I figured I'd give it a go for 2024 to be able to share my personal experiences with customers!

i do not understand the concept of keeping the bow stable up and down, when hunting. From a height, we bend at the waist, yes the bow id straight in relation to our arm and upper chest, but angled down to the ground. If the bow is to work out itself being level with the ground, the bottom of the bow should theoretically kick out at the bottom axle to be level, which is bad, no?

They will not coincide with each other. Different limb deflections.

@@chipbrand6247 The limb deflections aren't the same for the Turbo or the cams. Meaning string and cable lengths could vary, and peak weights are the same bow to bow across the lineup.

@averagejackarchery nice. I think 500-550 is a good area to be. Still shoots pretty flat with plenty of punch, but I'm not getting 315 fps. Would like to know if you see any difference on target(deer) then the lighter set ups. Good luck this season Nate.

Hey dude, you talk a lot and you shoot a little Show me your target with 3 fixblades from at least 50 m and I'll watch it. Maybe. As it is, I like the lawn around your house the most You probably need to mow it once a week.

Just because you can't see yhe target doesn't mean I'm not a good shot. 2024 alone: 10th at LAS Classic, 2nd IBO Franklin, 4th IBO Nelsonvill. Semi Pro next year. The video isn't about my score, it's about the bow and setup.
