I think that wiley has a valid point but articulated it incorrectly, it does seem that ownership of the system i.e major labels are owned by a certain group and I can understand how that can seem like organized oppression. I remember buying Icerink on white label and how much the sound changed the scene. If you ask most hip hop fans who the greatest rapper is it’s mostly Biggie or Tupac. That’s because of the impact they made and how they changed the scene. That was what Wiley did for Our scene. No one comes close to his achievements, not talking about awards and no.1s but the UK scene would not be where it was without him. I doubt there’s any other artist who can claim the same.

Ride music, you say you don’t wNt to see Wiley go out like this. But hold on a minute, if you think about it, Wiley went out a long time ago. Since Roll Deep ended and grime kinda went to shit, Wiley just been hanging in there and it really pisses me off. So many people from the grime scene, have gone on to better things but Wiley literally got left out, period. He deserves the success like dizz, wretch, Ghetts and a lot of others. Without wiley, grime would have been shit and most wouldn’t be where they are today. I’m quite sure that Wiley isn’t rich but isn’t doing bad, money wise but he just deserves so much more. He may claim he’s at the end of his career, but look at Eminem, how many times did it look like he was at the end and he kept going (and he’s pushing 50). Good video and I totally get where you're coming from in this but my thing is I don't see how he can just come out with a "genuine apology" for saying what he said because in all honesty he sounded as if he meant everything he said except for generalising like he explained in that sky interview which to me was a farse anyway as its sky and they have their own agenda/narrative but that's another conversation.
