Great video. I have ridden from the UK to Cyprus on my Vespa GTS 300 HPE and it handled the mountain roads of Bosnia and Albania with no problems at all. It's such a versatile and easy to live with bike.

I bought a vespa 300 almost 6 months ago and can confirm it's a car good car replacement. Put 3000 miles in about 5 months of daily riding it for work, gym, groceries, etc. 10/10 do recommend buying a vespa. (This is coming from a rider who recently sold their xsr 700 and next bike was the vespa)

Always loved 2 wheels....Gold Wings, CTX1300, VTX1300, VT1300, etc...then I bought a Honda 250 for my son. Liked it. Then Forza, then...well, you get the picture. Now I have the GTS 300 and my wife calls it my girlfriend. It does everything. Carries big, heavy, light, & odd shaped things. It handles 2 up. It can eat your money in accessories just like the big name bikes. But if you let it, it will give you exceptional smiles/mile. Currently shopping for a second one wooohoooo!!!!! They aren't for everyone, but if it bites you and it takes....what a ride!!!!!!

I had a SYM 150 Scooter as my first ride here in Australia, it did the job perfectly for city riding, then got into proper motorcycles(not an insult) and the price and spending that comes with it, is largely incomparable for any road going gas powered vehicle, so if you ride, or even drive most days and think its time to figure out how to cut back on spending? Get a cheap scooter to ferry you to and from work on the decent-ish days and then spend what you save on the weekend with friends or family :) Do not sleep on scooters, they are a great, cheap and most of the time reliable mode of transport... Take it easy out there.

I've been riding a GTS for 15 years along with a wide range of motorcycles. The Vespa remains my first choice in most cases other than dirt and gravel adventures. It's been a perfect commuter and pleasure vehicle. I would love to travel to Italy and wander the countryside there!

I use to ride Honda ct90 back when I younger then I stop Because I join US Navy Airman! After 52 yrs working odd jobs I retire from Injures at work took me 17 years start back on my hobby! I got myself a used 2007 Piaggio mp3 250Ie Italy motorcycle scooter I restored and now started Practice riding again!

Yo. Great video. I ride a Vespa LX150. My daily commute is 19 miles from my driveway to my work location. I love it. Except now, it's currently supper foggy in the morning, so.. I'm in my 2002 Toyota Tacoma and waiting on clearer mornings. My dream, Vespa GTS 300. I want a wind screen and a box on the back. And then 😘 viola! Loads of miles and smiles for longer rides.

There are 5 bikes in my garage and while none are scooters I totally understand why they are so popular outside of the states. Hopefully the idea that you have to have 1000 cc of screaming four-cylinder underneath you to have fun on a motorcycle is being reshaped and the American idea that scooters are not cool or are somehow inferior to other types of motorcycles is beginning to shift. I don’t have a scooter but I do have a Honda C125 super cub and it is every bit as fun to ride in the right conditions as my Triumph 1200. I’ve ridden a Vespa 300 as well as a 150 and both were great fun to ride around the Nashville area. It was even fun when the guy in the lifted F250 laughing at me at the intersection was surprised when I walked off and left him sitting at the light when it went green.

I have very recently purchased a 2022 GTS 300, covered 400 miles and the petrol pump packed in......any update if these new bikes have had the issue sorted !!! Still not fixed.....awaiting pump to be sent to the main dealer. Besides that the 400 miles I have covered I am really impressed with it.

A Vesper is the equivalent of a Mercedes car when it comes to scooters you got good craftsmanship they've been around for over 50 years and they're built out of solid aluminum most scooters. Are made from plastic and break very easily and look nerdy. I recommend anybody getting on a Vespa because most people go I've been on a 50cc scooter those suck yeah but if that's what it's the top of the notch

I honestly wish we didn’t have the no license requirement for 50cc scooters. Scooters are great for commuting. But unlike other countries here in the states they still have the negative stereotype of being transportation for drunks that have lost their license after getting DUIs. Car drivers treat scooter riders like crap on the roads here in NC. The exploding mini Moto scene here in the states proves that 125cc+ scooters are definitely viable. I’ve on and off considered getting myself a maxi scoot like a Yamaha xmax 300. Not exactly a gold wing but pretty darn comfortable to sit on and no side bags needed with that truck that has enough room to hold not one, but two helmets.

It's too bad that, here where I live, the price of the GTS 300 almost equals those little city cars like Suzuki Ignis (due to heavy tax for anything over 250cc on two wheels). We still got the Sprint and Primavera 150, and even the GTS 150 tho, so yeah, same fun in smaller packages.

You guys realize a Vespa GTS 300 super can do freeway speeds of 80 mph technically you have under the seat storage and it gets like 65 miles a gallon

4.2l/100km is pretty high for a 300. I think my cb500f's got the same consumption. But I can only fit a fanta can under my pillion seat, which might burst (maybe experienced it myself).

That's why I like smaller displacement bikes, you can actually ride more agressive on those, and wringing the motor out is super fun, especially since you can do it and also stay half legal/safe.

I had a come to Jesus moment when one of the guys I grew up with and rode supersports with had an SUV turn out in front of him, he smacked the side at 120mph. Dude's so fucking lucky to be alive let alone walking around with no permanent disabling damage. He's of the same mindset now days, rides dual sports now.
