Quickly becoming my favorite pre game segment. David Andersons insight is top notch. So knowledgeable. You guys play off each other very well.

David Anderson is the absolute best!....He really keeps things in perspective with all this negativity after a Rutgers' huge win...really was starting to get me bummed! In years past, Rutgers would lose the last 2 games. Some time I feel you can never satisfy some Rutgers fans, while they go about throwing a damper on what's shaping up to be an amazing season....Thank you DA👍

Agreed...he is so good explaining why things happen from game plan perspective.

For me I do worry about the defense. It was supposed to be the strength of the team. I know we are missing Mohammed You're. It was good to see them pressure the QB but the guys didn't get home. Also while I was at the game there were so many missed and shed tackles. Overall it was a good win and I'm glad Rutgers won. However I don't think this can continue with the bend but don't break defense.

I agree 100%. I am very surprised how poor the tackling has been. An area I thought would be a strong part. According to PFF Rutger's secondary is responsible for 70% of missed tackles.

Agree completely, too many missed tackles and coverage at times poor.

I think you can argue that when the offense needed to win a game, they did against Vtech. Granted it was only one game, but I think we may need to transition to the idea that the offense may need to carry the team this year not the defense as in other years. I feel confident they are good enough to come from behind and win games without a stellar defense.

The players recently returning on defense are just getting back into the flow of things, so naturally they're a step slower.

What is the status with Troy Rainey? I agree with Anderson about the special design of the defense for Washington as well as the offense being more concerned with taking time off the clock rather than more points on the scoreboard.

I worry more about the secondary, but if we're talking about players, it's Dariel Djabome. It started at Ohio State last year where he was out of place on the long screen play and continued through the Washington game where he missed a sure sack, having the qb in his arms but letting him get away.

Worry about the defense. Worry about the secondary. Worry about the O Line. Worry about the quarterback. Worry about the special teams.

Again you have no football IQ … give it up

In the end, all that matters are points on the board. So long as Rutgers remains stout in the red zone, I'm fine with giving up yardage. The opposite is what Washington did: produced a ton of 3 & outs, but the few times Rutgers got into the yellow/red zone, they gave up TDs.

Funny to bring up that giants team that won a super bowl, when we have one of those coaches

4-0 Go RU!!! Get more points than the other team on the board. 😊

It's porous! Washington outplayed RU except the field goal team. Washington's mistakes caused them the game. Monanghi is the whole offense complemented by Sam Browne III is the offense. Kaliakmanis is a good game manager. The defense will cost them games. This is not a catch up offense. Defense has to dominate for them to win!
