Thanks for sharing. My mom never boil her fruits she would soak them for about 3 to 4 mths in wines etc then grind them and soak again with more wines and rum she would put a lot when ahe bake her cake I can't remember her adding more wines after the cake is baked. HAPPY TO learn this other way.

I enjoy watching your videos. You taught me something new about washing your dried fruits. I just read on the sun-maid raisins packaging that the raisins are stemmed and may occasionally contain grape stem or wood pieces wow. That’s probably what catches on our teeth. Never too early . The longer the fruits soak the better the cake tastes. I agree rinsing the fruits is important. The sand in it can ruin your tooth filling . Thank you fuh sharing.
