A swimsuit! That was a surprise, Kim. It looks great on you and very complicated with all the panels. Great idea to write the instructions all down. I love the rouching. You did such a beautiful job sewing all the elements together. More fun plans coming up. Enjoy the last of the sunny weather. The heat and sun returned here too but it cools off much earlier. I'm making the most of it knowing this is the end. Happy sewing.

Hi Kim, lovely swimsuit, hope you have a nice holiday booked so you can wear it. That burnout fabric reminds me of a dress I had when I was a little girl, it was blue and quite stiff I thought I was a princess. 😂 have a good week x

Your swimsuit is fab. Not been brave enought to attempt one yet but have bought the fabric and elastic. I also purchased the new Downtown jacket having seen Karina's. Looking forward to seeing yours. I really enjoy making Pattern Emporium patterns. Great value and lots of options. The Smitten jacket is a favourite.

@@christinadore9197 thanks Christina. Definitely have a go at making a swimsuit. It made a change and was a fun make. I have a little stash of swimwear fabric and wouldn't mind making a few more, but maybe next year in the spring in readiness of the warmer summer weather. I've left it a bit late this year. I have purchased fabric for the Downtown and ironically have the Smitten already in my pattern stash. I might dig out the Smitten. I'm in the mood for jacket making! ❤️

Lovely job on the swimsuit. I've got some fabric lined up but never got round to it - I was going to make a tankini with shorts bottoms as I prefer a two piece. Maybe next year! Or if we manage to get a holiday booked. I've also bought the Downtown pattern, but no fabric in mind yet. I managed to get the Be Mine blouse made up, and it wasn't too bad, despite the viscose slipping about a bit. A bit of spray starch helped. I am just preparing the Coco Pants in the same fabric, but not sure if I can stand the pattern overload so I might end up having to make some plain bottoms for the special do we have in November. I was hoping for a faux jumpsuit look but we'll see.

@@Yorkygirl59 sounds like we are drawn to the same sort of makes. I really enjoyed making the swimsuit. I have a little stash of swimwear fabric so I hope to make a few, but maybe next year. @@LauraMartini-gb3nl thanks Laura. I'll will be venturing into lingerie next year. Believe me I have enough lace! I dabbled in it a while back, before my sewing room, but couldn't commit time to it, so I will definitely be looking at it again. I will need to get my dressmakers dummy sorted first as I will not be modelling my bras 😄❤️
