Im a professional Illustrator/ Artist (40 years) I JUST got my Stickey Bones today! If Had this 39 years ago, I'd be SOOOOOO far ahead in the illustration industry. Got mine on Christmas, definitely worth but recommend only if you have some experience in stop motions.

Stop motion is a wonderful medium and this tool really will help with that and illustration in general

I orderded one of these two years ago, or so I thought I did! It was the rig/base only. It was a nightmare trying to get my money back and in the end it got refunded to an inactive card, so i only got 10 dollars of it back. I just got their email today and made sure I read the description and it said it came with the base. So I ordered one. I am mainly going to be using it for doing the pose sketches for illustrations and 2d as well as 3d animations. It seems like a good investement. Better than bending yourself out of shape and looking up poses on google images. Do you think I need the fly rig too? Or the magnetic base is plenty?

Sorry that you had to go through that at first. So the Fly Ring is a great add on. It allows for flying poses and action poses like jumps and flying sidekicks. It is also a great way to get worms eye view shots of the character. Now it is not needed but the versatility that comes from it is worth the money in my opinion

I checked on the website reasonable price but U.S is multiplied by 7 in my country and I have to pay for shipping too 😭 that's over a thousand dollars the wooden mannequin is available in my country for 99 dollars my current doll or mannequin doesn't have an articulated waist but her arms and legs bend so I guess I'll buy that and use online reference....

Armature Nine has an art model that claims to be super poseable and magnetic as well - would love to see a vid comparing it with stickybones

This is premium content! Been wanting one for a while, now I'm definitely gonna get it asap. I work with UR robots, I now wanna rig it to the desktop UR model on a pneumatic rail to get so studio quality stop motion.

Im loving the hair you have and also the knick knacks and figures/collectibles in the background. Im thinking if the stickybones figure is worth it. Is it durable? If any parts break on it from posing or use does the company send out replacement parts? I looked at the price.... is it worth the $119.00?

Thank you for the video. It was very informative. I saw you pose the stickybone figure in many ways. I also saw you bend the torso backwards a few times, but I never saw the torso bend forward. I would like to do a lot of forward bend poses from the waist and so on. I am wondering if the stickybone figure can do those poses as well.

Hello, Glad you liked the video. Yes the figure can do forward bends and poses and with the powerful magnets that are in the hands and feet it the figure is very stable. I do highly recommend this figure to every artist.
