Its too sad that they didn't make any options while sitting in class. Even in sims 3 university there was a lecture where your sim could raise a hand, or write notes or sleep. I thought I loved this pack as I was watching the livestream, but the more I think about it the more I realize that what I love is what the modders are going to do with this pack. Sometimes it's depressing to realize that I don't expect a good pack from the devs anymore - just a good framework for the mods to give me a good game.

I’m kind of sad about the after-school activities. I was expecting a little bit more. The main two that we got, in the beginning, aren’t even in the tabs. Scouts and drama club. I wonder if we will be able to still do drama club and do it at school.

It's so crazy to me that after all of these years of playing The Sims way back sims 2...I feel like they rarely listen to what we want. And feel like they are just going backwards. It started with giving us freedom to move around in TS3 and then taking it away in TS4. That really was the clincher for me. I feel like I want TS3 just with better graphics. The whole idea of them making all of these towns with fake storefronts is super annoying. It seems lazy to me. Gives us our freedom back. All they had to initially do to make TS4 better than TS3 is better graphics but everything the same and let us drive cars. Omg that would be amazing. I am seriously worried about TS5 if everything is treated the way it is now. THANK YOU MODDERS FOR BRINGING LIFE TO OUR GAME! The game would seriously suck without them. The creators should employ and work with these awesome modders. So frustrating! 🙄

All this sounds quite underwhelming to me. Like, this don't work, that is only "aesthetic" (which means it don't work, either) the long-awaited american foot... spheroid after-school activity is basically like the play catch interaction from ts2, much of the features are copied from mods, except for the curved walls which are copied from paralives, the classes are extremely realistic insofar as you just sit there and wait for the bell, the cas for boys is almost nonexistent, you are permitted to edit the school but not to build your own...

In the live stream they said you could bulldoze the lot and rebuild the school to your liking. It sucks I can't place a school in any world as I would have chosen mt.komorebi or Henford since both lots have a large lot surrounded by trees that allows for most builds to avoid clashing with the world aesthetics.

Parking lot but no cars to drive and park into that space, yes "aesthetically" pleasing. Giving all else but the simplest things asked for like cars and unchaining babies out of their cribs. But yooo, they rly should've added another school so they can have football games against that school! They had two diff colleges to attend so why not 2 diff high school, and say if u got expelled from one, you can get into the other high school. That would've been dope.

Love the vid and your review as always! This pack is missing sooooo many features. There's way too much aesthetic going on and not enough game play. As always, the world is awesome but I just wish they would apply the same zeal to actual game play. Overall, the pack looks good but I'll wait for it to go on sale. Thanks for the review. Not really liking it. Too much deco and another woodland like world for me and I'll end up just sending my teens off by themselves. I was never interested in the high school mod. but do like the Get to College mod. The attraction system don't need it already use Turbodriver's mod with that in it. Are the ferris wheel, tunnel of love, fun house, ice cream stall and the photo booth in buy/ build mode?

at my high school which i just graduated from they used to be able to decorate their parking spots and they would make murals on them but they stopped assigning parks because there was a law passed where you couldn’t like assign parks to students or something

I'm trying to decide what I think of the pack... I like it? But everything feels so forced! The before class activity doesn't really change much and it's more of a quick point and quick before you're forced into class. I've also noticed that going to the football/cheerleading events that you need to be on campus to actually make it on time for the judges. The times I've gone to the events from home the judge is never there lol really funky pack

I am now really looking forward to this pack, it seems like there will be a lot of things to do, and I love things they are going to add, like namely sexual attraction, which I have wanted for so long, I never expected it with the other games, even though I wanted it badly, but I did keep expecting they would with this one or that they should, and the finally did it! Is anyone else having the issue where only your teen and a select other teens go to highschool? Like I made a few families with teens so my sim could date/interract with these sims, but they dont even show up to school EVER. is there any way I can change that?

So, if you want your Sims to be able to clothes shop, you have to get High School Years. That is SO Sims 4. There is nothing about being at High School that says 'clothes shops'. The Sims 2 team would know this, the Sims 3 team would know this, and they never ripped us off. They delivered. Where that game lost somewhat in graphics, it made up for a LOT in gameplay.
