Is It Worth It To Port My Chainsaw? Husqvarna 272 61

I have an Husqvarna 61 but mine ...the chain breakHandle its metals it Normal,its older I guess mine was my Fathers saw mint mint condition the original Bar. and according to him only 4 chain I have the old chain and everything, its 1983 .

Yeah I agree that running a ported saw is waaaay more funner! The next interesting test will be to see how your ported 61 Wolf with aftermarket BB Tecomec P&C saw compares to this recently acquired 272 with the OEM top end that you're fixin' to port... 😉😉

Well some saws may be better left untouched. I think the 272 may be one of those. It’s minty. A reliable stand by for a big tree where a tune session in the back cut isn’t an option.
