Its really designed to be a cooler with the thick foam walls. I personally would only use it as a cooler.

I would say it is water resistant from the outside. I wouldn't have any problem being in the rain and having water get inside. The seal works really well. Thanks for watching!!

Around 24 hrs if you put the items in the cooler cold and limit how much you open the bag.

Yeti says Using a 2:1 ice to cans ratio... The cooler will hold 18 regular size cans. I would say with no ice, it would easily hold 15 bottles.
