Steven, you have precisely described the point I have reached in my watercolor journey. I am able to follow a demo, follow a step-by-step, or simply copy another artist’s painting and have a result that I am totally happy with. However, when it comes to choosing a painting and developing a composition, I am at a loss. I have known this for some time and had identified it as my core problem. I now understand. I am not the only one in that boat, and I am Anxiously waiting your lessons on this subject. Also, I love love love your paintings and your style.
