Vanderbilt is a BIG key to Lakers success, if he's not healthy lakers are in trouble, He provides a lot of flexibility in rotations, energy, catalyst. Every team needs a player that provides what he brings. This is disconcerting. Love you KamBros. Keep up the good work.

Also almost every single ‘injury’ our players suffered last year was at some undisclosed moment off camera. That was the real thing, it’s like I watch every game, don’t see someone get hurt next thing I know they’re out months

Talk about lowered expectations. When the best news you have is "he was seen walking", this does not portend well.
@mnjshannn31672 ай бұрын
Vando missed lot of time with same injuries during his college and early nba seasons, thats also one of reasons why he never developed his offensive game imo I’ve been telling laker fans on twitter to not keep many expectations on vando’s return or him helping them win as soon as they said he won’t be healthy last season, I knew he will miss more than a year, Rob is an idiot for mismanaging so much, D’lo will walk for nothing, Vando is 10 mil wasted for 2 seasons in a row Lakers are also one of the most shamelessly run franchise, there’s no transparency about anything to fans cus their only goal is lying and filling seats
@Mac2Mon2 ай бұрын
It’s been so long since folks saw Vando they forgot how unplayable he was in the playoffs because he’s a blackhole on offense, but sure he would help in the regular season being a body for defense
@hieroglyphy61812 ай бұрын
Stop it. He was not unplayable in the playoffs. He was injured late in the Golden State series and played poorly against Denver (that’s 4 games). Before that, he was an integral part of the rotation that made it to the conference Finals. He was the primary defender on Morant and Curry. That’s quite an important role buddy.

Rui Hachimura got DEMOTED to backup Power Forward coming out of Preseason for a good reason. Hachimura’s poor athleticism and poor foot speed on defense against Power Forwards. A NBA veteran 6’6 Big Guard with a Defense 1st Mentality could have kept Hachimura on the 2nd Unit.

Why do we talk about Vando like he's some great Laker? This FO got rid of champs like trash and hold onto mid players like gold.
@deandrepage10482 ай бұрын
Lakers 1st Unit perimeter defense is pathetic, a below-average 1-on-1 perimeter defender at BOTH GUARD SPOTS. 👎 6’8 defensive specialist Jarred Vanderbilt was used as a weapon to hide that weakness. Assigned to play 1-on-1 defense against point guards and 2-Guards.

They should have made the trade for dejonte Murray but they wanted to hold on to Austin Reeves who averaged 14 points a game with no defense Murray got defense average 21 points a game pelinka never thinks realistically he's an idiot if they have Murray found a way to get Grant and a big man we would be contenders All these teams are getting better we are getting worse just sabotage LeBron and 'ADs career I wish they would have both left they can't even compete they were the bomb in the Olympics because they had good role players around them it's sad how the Lakers are being held back because of one Guy pelinka.
