Jeep is not doing bad cars design wise. Jeep is having reliability issues for sure. But what is killing Jeep is that they forgot and betrayed their buyers (searching a rugged, comfortable and somehow capable car at convenient prices) to run behind the ones of companies like Cadillac or even Mercedes, Audi and BMW. But reality is that customers of these brands will not buy a Jeep and traditional Jeep customers will not buy such unreliable and pricey cars. Results is that Jeep is dying because they walked away from their own identity…
@treydrier3169Ай бұрын
That's not true. I owned 2 Mercedes GLE's and a couple Lexus 450's. The value you get with the GC Summit/Summit Reserve is excellent. I decided to get a GC Summit Reserve mainly because the GLE is getting ridiculously pricey and I've had issues with them. Not so with the GC. Its been great so far (1 year in) and the air suspension and driver assist is fantastic. I take it up and back from Florida to Ohio.

I was at the dealership the other day to pick up some parts and looked over the Grand Cherokee L Summitt Reserve. It was as luxurious as you could imagine it to be. Everything was super lux. Exceptionally well done and a much better choice than a Range Rover. The sticker said 70k plus a 3k addendum sticker of stupid add on's. However, you can buy it for 10% off sticker plus rebates. Jeep's problem is at the lower end of their product line. They need cheap Wranglers with vinyl seats and vinyl floors with 5 speed manual transmissions priced in the mid 30's.

This trim of the Grand Cherokee really needs that Hurricane 3.0L inline-6 turbo engine from the Wagoneer & Grand Wagoneer to give it more performance. The 3.6L Pentastar probably isn't enough to move this heavy of an SUV, & the fact that you can get it so many Stellantis models doesn't help give it enough exclusivity when it's such a common engine. Other cars in this price bracket have more powerful engines without them being a V8

Nah, the Wagoneer sub-brand is supposed to be the luxury arm of Jeep. The Jeep brand just kind of defines it's own premium sport military niche. (And that is why lots of megabrands would love to snap up Jeep for the portfolio.) It really comes down to what people cross shop a particular Jeep model with more than the label applied. The luxed out Grand Cherokees are nice rides for way too much money. With the demise of the Hemi V-8 and rise of the six pot it becomes harder to sell the high MSRP ones. At least it ain't a four banger.

Jeep is trying to be too many things. That's the problem with all the (American) Stellantis brands. Jeep should definitely cater more twds AFFORDABLE Off-road capable suvs & they need fewer trim levels/packages. Dodge should be more luxurious honestly since they are usually powered by more expensive higher performance engines they warrant higher prices anyway & Chrysler should get axed & Pacifica could become a Jeep which would make it unique. So you ask a question in the beginning of this video is Jeep a luxury brand. To be honest they should be there's no reason why Jeep should not be in the same position or looked upon as the same as Land Rover. Now if you check the history it it was Jeep that gave Land Rover their very first start it was Land Rover that borrowed the platform from Jeep back in the 1950s or 60s to start their company you can look it up so why should you not be as revered as Land Rover as a luxury brand I kind of hate how American Vehicles can never be viewed as the same level as Europeans . I think Jeep could be so better without the interference of that Italian brand that came over and messed everything up those people who are part of stellantis need to go back to their own country we all know how Italian cars and their reliability is
