James Proctor agrees that their are many frauds and bad apples in the mob genre who are not who they say they are. James Proctor and Jeff Nadu both called a fraud that was saying he was the nephew of Paul Castellano, the former Gambino Family Boss. James goes into discussing the process for vetting guests and speaks directly on Nick Romano of the ‪@THENICKROMANOSHOW‬ and Frank DeMatteo ‪@frankdimatteomobcandymagazine‬ who tell stories about the life. However, neither claim to be inducted members of Cosa Nostra or any mob family. Nick Romano got into an incident as a teenager. His Godfather was JOhnny Bananas Gannone who was close to Wild Bill Cutolo. Gannone ran the Local 400 Production Union with Wild Bill Cutolo. In addition, the incident in question involved Gambino heavyweights including Fat Dom Borghese, a Gambino that later flipped. When things were being resolved, Gennaro Langella AKA Gerry Lange was called who was in prison and another Colombo was brought into represent Nick Romano and his interests in this. Again, Nick was only a 13 year old child when this happened. Many people on Staten Island are aware of the incident and it is not a secret. Nick ROmano also talked about his friendship with guys that were part of the New Springville Boys, an infamous group of kids that did mischief on the island and had many infamous people including Chris Paciello in it and Lee D'Avanzo who was the leader and also was the boyfriend for several years to Karen Gravano, the daughter of the infamous Gambino Underboss for John Gotti, Sammy the Bull Gravano. These are stories that James Proctor verified. In addition, James Proctor discusses the video Nick Romano did about Joey Merlino. James Proctor does not support that video and he actually went and spoke with Joey Merlino about it on Instagram. James also told Nick it was not right. Is Jeff Nadu the gatekeeper of the genre? Nadu is just butthurt that Sammy said get lost and partnered with OC. He knows without Sammy he can't grow in popularity. He's pretty much running out of stories. He just ripped off Selwyn Raab and made a channel. Honestly, this genre is dying a slow death. Scars and RJ are a buzzkill with their holier-than-thou nonsense. Sammy's show sucks. Cicale has been promising stories for two years but never delivered. He was a nobody in the life anyway. Ruggiano is a nice guy, but wasn't a big player in the life. Franzese is on to bigger and better things. And, frankly, it's all redundancy now. Nothing new. We've hear all the stories now and we're losing interest. That's why there's nothing left but beefing. Nadu beefing with Sammy. Cicale beefing with Nadu, Gravano, and Merlino. RJ and Scars beefing with Sammy. It's just a big joke now.

Im a subscriber to Jeff's show for awhile now and in the beginning I thought he was an ok bloke. But I recently watched a live show & he acted like a tool to 1 of his fans & was gonna block him for saying hello to someone in the chat Jeff didnt like. Another content creator jumped in the chat to stick up for the fan. The next show jeff said he didnt go off on fans. His attitude seems to have changed a bit. He teams up with ppl then dogs them. I watch many of the mob channels because I grew up in Bensonhurst around a lot of mob people. So I enjoy listening to different people’s opinions on things. It’s for each watcher to decide who they like and believe. I admit I do watch Nadu. When he stays in his lane and does shows on people he is very informative. The problem is he has a big ego with a very thin skin and he gets rude if you have a different opinion than him. At that point he becomes unwatchable. He deletes comments that politely correct him too. Just happened to me today for the second time. It definitely wasn’t KZbin. It’d be a real coincidence if 2/2 times I correct him my comments get deleted, out of the 50+ comments i’ve left over the past year or so.

Simón. Thank you for your comments. I rarely will delete a comment unless it is attacking somebody viciously or the language is something that could get the channel in trouble. I have no problem with people correcting me as I want to be accurate and I honor the history. I struggle with the pronunciation at times of some of these Italian names and I have no issue with the corrections. My hope is to improve over time and be as accurate as possible. Part of it too is I want the feedback of the viewers because it helps me to improve the show. Have a great weekend Simon.

Here’s what it is. It’s more of a respect thing for the subscribers of the channel. There are a lot of people who watch that have family members in prison or they have had bad experiences with informants. I had Michael Franzese on and obviously others but for the most part I try and limit them on the show. Jeff had the right to have who he wants on and obviously I can’t make everybody happy. I look at it more of if the guy is trying to change his life and what he is doing now and if it’s a good story. But it’s more of a rule of thumb that I have versus saying never.
