Shade Stone, Oh wow, finally someone who sees what the bible is actually saying. Thank you so so very much. You are saying exactly how I think. And I have learned a few things from you that opened my eyes to what I didn't see. I write alot, and read daily. So I do miss some, but then God sends me help. Thanks I have been studying the bible for years, by myself. And God has given me the knowledge I needed to help me understand what took place then, and what is taking place now. I will watch a YT video and sometimes comment on my thoughts. Bamm...I get attacked always for my beliefs. "I do not believe, nor have I ever believed, God was Jesus in the flesh" and that God himself came to earth born an infant and died a man, for us. (first of all, why, because he loved us?) While reading throughout the OT, I notice that back then when an Angel of the Lord would speak to someone, they would refer to him as "My Lord". They knew it was not God in the flesh, nor his voice, but his words. And they still referred to the Angel as God. Just like when Jacob fought with the Angel. They knew that it was not God himself, but his words, his powers. And yet refer to him fighting God. God always spoke thru someone on earth or the Angels sent to earth. Just like Jesus said, no one has ever "personally seen God" but the Son. (this is why I believe it was Adam sent back to earth, God only has one Son) Jesus told Mary after he rose; "Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to My Father and your Father, My God and your God." Thank you so much for your knowledge. God is surely opening eyes.

@@teresalee7738 He is also called the second Adam. I think it is a figure of speech maybe the way they talked. But I do know that God only had one Son. And who was that Son? If you are saying Jesus was not Adam, then you are saying God had two sons. So either way, it is how I have read and understand scripture. I could be right, or I could be wrong. But I think we are all in that category. I just use logic and this makes perfect sense to me.

John 20: 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic Ай бұрын
Yes, many bring this up. That said, there are many ways we can look at this...Perhaps Thomas could see the fulness of the Father's power in Jesus...so he was seeing Jesus (Lord) and the Father's full power (God). I could also say that if Jesus is the High Priest of the heavens, then Jesus is Thomas' God, via his High Priest position under the order of Melchizedek which is a perpetual priesthood. We should also mention that Thomas saying My Lord and my God doesn't make a triune god because there is only two titles mentioned. This would lend a little better to Modalism, but even then, why didn't he just say 'My God' or 'My Lord God'? One big title for one God. And of course, we have that huge challenge of Jesus saying He has a God all the way into Revelation, which is way past the time with Thomas. Jesus says in one verse (Revelation 3:12) that He has a God 4 times.

@@ShadeStoneMusic it could mean what it says. Thomas identifying that Jesus Christ is his Lord and God. The Father is God and The Son is God they both accepted the worship of men. You got people in these comments thinking Jesus isn't God. Tread carefully your wrong about a lot. Like Satan being bound when angels came to minister to Jesus. Good as usual, Shade. Since God is the Father, does anyone ever ask you who His wife is? They have a Son together. Or was He married to Mary? Oh wait, that was the Holy Spirit, right? lol It gets frustrating to explain that God is an infinite being, the source of being. He's knows we're not up to the task of grasping infinity, at least not while we're here on Earth. God gave us very useful metaphors about himself to help us cope with our limitations in understanding Him. Those are in the Bible. Christians just need to roll with it and show love to our neighbors like we were told to do. Wrapping our minds around infinities will just have to wait.

Hello! I'm always thrilled to read messages like this. A parent with their child, considering these presentations. Amazing! Thank You. Your question is fantastic. It really is. This is something all Christians should be discussing. That said, very few are because most still think the work is not complete. So this is my take. Consider Scriptures like this: 1st John 2:2 - And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the "whole world". Or 1st Timothy 4:10 - ...we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of "all men", specially of those that believe. So do I think that Jesus the Anointed is still High Priest? Yes. I think it's a permanent position; in perpetuity; a Chief Corner Stone. To me, that communicates a permanent position because He "established" the heavenly kingdom. So from where I sit, the entire world has a merciful High Priest...even if they don't know it. After all, Jesus said: "Forgive them Father; they know not what they do." Hope this helps!

Great question! I'm not so sure my answer will be very satisfactory, but I will certainly offer my opinion. Personally, I think this is a 'to each their own' scenario. I don't go to any 'denominational buildings'. They aren't 'my thing'. I congregate with anyone who leads with genuine love, patience, and kindness towards my family. To me, that is a 'Christian group' because they are being 'Christ-like' or 'God-ly' in obeying the greatest command. If they love me as themselves, we can fellowship. That is my approach and it works really well for my family, but it may not work for all.

@ditchdiggerpewsitter - for what it’s worth - I have not found any churches that believe as I do, and it not fellowship in my mind if I cannot reason with them and discuss God’s Word. I have been disfellowshipped from my home congregation for well over a year due to my preterist beliefs. I still love and pray for them and am currently enjoying fellowship at another congregation, albeit without communion privileges. I am admittedly a bit bullheaded but wish to stick close to the body of Christ (And, for sure, that can be in a home fellowship). However, many of us do not even have access to a place to fellowship with our heretical beliefs. So?, we will have to wait on the Lord to see what he does with us just as so many of our brothers and sisters down through the ages had to wait for things to change and convictions to align in some positive ways. @AiluraMelas I believe the scriptures disagree with that statement. God vowed that ultimately His glory will cover the earth. Exodus defines God's glory as His character, His holiness, His goodness. It's a sure thing that God's glory is not covering the earth now. And if conditions on this earth remain in perpetuity, then His glory will never cover the earth. That would translate to God breaking His vow. Which is unthinkable as well as impossible. Full preterism fails the revealed will and plan of God. Peace.

The Word is the one and only begotten God [john 3vs16,18, 3vs16, 1john 4vs9] The Father then use HIs only begotten son, the Word to create the angellic gods [colossian 1vs15-16,psalm82vs6, daniel 3vs25] conclusion: the Father alone is - the only true God, the Word aloneis the only -begotten god, angels are - created gods. thanks for your ministry and all the hard work you are doing it is much appreciated, we are all praying and rooting for you. keep up the excellent work. please send these two videos to all chritians. have a spirit filled day.

Characteristics of the nature of God are: He is the One, the Holy, the Almighty, the Eternal, the Loving, the Merciful, the Just, the Perfect. God is not unknown, not hidden; he reaches out to man, speaks to them and allows them to speak to him. First and foremost he speaks through his word and through all who have received him in faith. Shade, how would you interpret this then? The 'son' is called, 'Mighty God, Father of eternity" Isaiah 9:6 For a Child hath been born to us, A Son hath been given to us, And the princely power is on his shoulder, And He doth call his name Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace. Also, doesn't deity mean God? By the way, I agree that the Son is lower than God himself, but I can see how some verses are very confusing and get interpreted in the way they do.
@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic Ай бұрын
I would say He is a 'mighty God'. There are also 'mighty Angels'...He is indeed a 'mighty God'. That said, as 1st Corinthians 15 says, He is still 'subject' unto the Father. By the way...have you ever seen the Aramaic Bible in Plain English? Look at their rendering: "the Mighty Man of Eternity". I find that interesting since Paul still calls Jesus 'The Man' in 1st Timothy 2:5. I am not slamming my fists on that rendering, I just found that rendering interesting. The Father of Eternity fits Christ well also because without Jesus we don't have the 'eternal High Priest' with the 'endless life'. And yes, there are some verses that are difficult no matter what position someone takes. All the more reason to not be dogmatic about it.

Being on the "right hand" and "Son" are Hebrew idioms. They are not meant to be taken literally. Jesus tells those of his day that before he was 'I am'. Meaning he was Jehovah. In John 14, he reveals to his disciples that if they have seen him, they have seen the Father. When he uses the word Son, it means his mortal body or God incarnate, or rather he is the "form of God". Also, servant and son are interchangeable in Hebrew. You can see this in the various translations of the Bible where some will use the word 'son' and others 'servant'. Next, Jesus talks about himself in the 3rd person often. For example, the "Son of man will come in the clouds". Why doesn't he say 'I will come in the clouds'. Lastly, the word AND can also be used to tie several words to the same concept, doesn't always mean they are different. So saying "that they might know thee the only true God AND Jesus Christ" is additive or clarifying to who is the one true God. It would be like saying, "The building is tall AND beautiful."

Really? Then How did Jesus Christ pray to Himself before Calvary to the Father? The Cross: "Father, why did you for sake me?". Genesis 1: "We" (Elohim- multiple eternal beings in Heaven?) . We at least have two eternal beings: Father and Son.

This is a fair interpretation. And I certainly have no problem if someone holds to it. That said, I agree that I would not take 'on the right hand' overly literal, but I don't think the idiom points to Modalism or Trinitarianism either. Also, 'the building is tall & beautiful' is not the proper analogy because Jesus says 'Only' true God...and also because those are two attributes not two persons. Thank You for sharing!

Modalists say Jesus is the Father. Any Trinitarian position still has distinction between God the Father and God the Son, I would emphasize the Father's unique personal property of being the Source or Cause of the divine nature and that rightly makes him Jesus' God. With regards to Christ, in order for him to truly be his Father's only begotten Son he must necessarily share his Father's nature. Like we are human because our fathers are human, Jesus is true God because his Father is true God.

I think that it is only by the Holy Spirit one can confess "Jesus is God" upon hearing the gospel - because to us who dwell upon the earth, He is and so that is a right response. He is everything God is to us - here. What all that means however, is a lifelong pursuit. But here, we continue to pray by the Spirit to the Father in Jesus' name when we approach the throne of His grace in heaven. In Isaiah's day, Israel knew of no other God, and He declares that to them; but there are plenty of 'hints' that Another was to come and they would bow the knee to Him (Jesus) just as He said they would bow the knee to Him (YHWH). I think that is why Isa 9:6 gives the Son to be born as Immanuel the same names they knew the Father by. God with us is who Jesus is because He is One with God for ever. It makes sense to me... I would not want to freeze frame that confession into a 'trinity' understanding however - hence the lifelong pursuit.

I do have a video coming out on this fairly soon. That said, if you take a look at Young's Literal Translation it says: "Father of Eternity". I found a few others that confirm this rendering. So since Christ is the Eternal High Priest under the order of Melchizedek, it would appear to me that the 'Father of Eternity' is a fitting title. One even rendered it as 'Mighty Man of Eternity'. So in case you want to dig into it, that might assist in your studies in the meantime.

Can you do a video on how Pretorist View (not the extreme hyper view) gives people peace and hope. The number one accusation from futurists is that Pretorist View destroys hope. How do we refute this? Even Satan's Little Season camp gets depressing because it means the White Throne Judgement is next with no chance if a revival or anything. How is that hopeful? Futurism is such a guessing game and already, daily, the date setters are at it again. Or, a certain leader after November is bringing in the Mark of the Beast. Pastor Chuck Baldwin even says it gets ridiculous. Yes, we have concerns that tyranny can rise up, but Jesus Christ said there will never be another Great Tribulation again. Matthew 24. I grew up in all of this. It is dizzying. Then, your faith is shifted in events and signs and looking to the coming of the Antichrist instead of Jesus Christ. It's absolutely Insanity. It causes complacency and an ineffective Ecclesia. It has the fruit of spiritual abuse, legalism, and confusion. I've been in some futurist Bible study groups. Even 5 people in the room will try to convince if it's Pre- Tribulation, Mid- Tribulation or Post Tribulation. I've seen heavy heated arguments in a futurist group. Certainly this cannot be of God. Plus, it takes away preparation for going into eternity after physical death. Churches don't do a really good job if preparing people for a physical death especially if there is a serious deadly illness and after funerals, the family and friends are left alone. I know. It happened to me a few times after I lost first my dad, then my mom. The Love and care and empathy was not there. I got "We will pray for you " or Your parent is in a better place" or " time to move on.". Grief support now is 6 weeks- a program. I forgot the name of it. I was shocked. It's fast food Christianity because we are all getting raptured any day. The Cross is remembered mainly on Good Friday and Communion once a month. I'm questioning that whole thing too. We take a cup and cracker after a few words and go home. Is that how the Last Supper in the Bible went down? What happened to a real meal together after church remembering all that Jesus Christ has done and all He is doing now. Futurism focuses on Jesus future. Jesus Christ said He is Yesterday, Today, and Forever. What happened to being present with Jesus Christ today? Did not the first century saints after the Ascension under horrible circumstances stay present with the present Jesus Christ in their time? Certainly I think some more things can happen in the future because of human flesh. But, I'm scared to death to tell my friends or pastor my view has changed on Bible Prophecy because I'll be rejected fully. Why is Eschatological View determine friends and fellowships? I've got stories on the insanity of futurism. Also, in some circles, love and kindness was minimal to none, almost an indifference. I'll probably going to the church we chose for our kids, but how do you crack this? I have to guard my heart not to get angry either. Christians are so blinded. Then, all churches charge money for funerals and weddings. It's turned into a full blown business. Weddings is more understandable but funerals? Seriously? Regarding dying and death, I see very little love or support in that process. The Rapture Ideology causes insensitivity to those who lose loved ones. By the way, 1 Corinthians 15 is read nearly every time. I thought about that. I'm like ya, the loved one has put on their new incorruptible body now. It just makes sense. But, pastors never explain where your loved one is in Jesus Christ except "in Heaven". No further explanation at all. This has got to change. Hopefully you can address this too. It has gotten to be a huge problem. Jesus Christ said for Christians to take care of widows and orphans. I can tell you by first hand experience, it's not happening. Pastors do not even have proper training to lead this really. Everything is Programs and business. It's absolutely opposite of what Jesus Christ set up. Thank you for listening.

A couple things to consider...As a 'Full Preterist'...1 Corinthians 15:24 changes the picture. Why? Because it says: "Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father". The 'He' is Jesus. Did Jesus deliver the Kingdom to God The Father? The Full Preterist has to say yes to that question. So we will have to work that into our understanding of Isaiah 43. (and how it applies to us today...yikes!) That said... Notice in verse 10 it says 'my servant whom I have chosen'. Who is the 'servant' in this picture? Hebrews 10:21 says: And having an high priest over the house of God; So who is that 'high priest'? So ultimately is there really any other True God than the Father? I don't think so. And that seems to be what Jesus says both before and after resurrection. So 1st Corinthians 8:4-6 says: ...there is none other God but one. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. So when I read Isaiah...I see the same communication as 1 Corinthians 8. I think that ultimately the role of Christ was to deliver the Kingdom back to God The Father. I'm thinking that is what Isaiah is picturing out. I know these are challenging... All the more reason to be open for discussion and not so dogmatic about any position. And that includes me indeed. Love that you are searching Sister!

@ShadeStoneMusic I'm pretty sure that the servant in verse 10 is Isreal. Because verse 1 says this But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. The whole chapter addresses Isreal. 10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, He first calls them His witnesses, then His servant. “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, And then He makes it very clear, IMHO, that there are no other gods. We know that people have called many things gods and worshipped many things that are not gods. I think what makes this so hard for people is that God is spirit and he lives outside of this physical relm. We want to define Him and Jesus in human terms that make sense in the physical world. But it can't be done. The creeds try to do it and so do those not lined with the creeds. Saying that Jesus is a god outside, other ,or less than the Father God still makes Him another God, but God Yahweh, says that there were no gods before Him and there will be none after Him. It can't be defined they way we want it to be. Blessing Brother 😊

We know that the role that Jesus played while on earth was the Son. But there is more to Jesus than just the Son. I believe He is also Yahweh. I only need one scripture to show my perspective. Can we all agree that Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords? That Jesus is the King over all the earth? I think that we can. There is agreement by most scholars that Zachariah 14 is a Messienic prophecy. Zachariah 14: 9 says this And the LORD will be king over all the earth. On that day the LORD will be one and his name one. The Hebrew word translated LORD twice in that verse is Yahweh. Strongs # 3068 ◄ 3068. Yhvh ► Strong's Concordance Yhvh: the proper name of the God of Israel Original Word: יְהוָֹה Part of Speech: Proper Name Transliteration: Yhvh Phonetic Spelling: (yeh-ho-vaw') Definition: the proper name of the God of Israel. So if in that day, the day of the Lord, Yahweh is to be King over all the earth. That either means Jesus is not King over all the earth, or it means Jesus is Yahweh. IMHO Blessing in Christ Jesus.

I will answer with Scripture: Matthew 16:15-16 - Jesus asked: “Who do you say I am?” Peter replied: "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” The answer is pretty clear there. [10] And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: [11] They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; [12] And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. Hebrews 1 : 8-12 -He is called God straight Up in verse 8, that alone should end this debate. -In verse 10 It says that It was Jesus who made Heaven and Earth, and when you go back to Psalms 102, where the quote is from, the psalmist is saying that about God. I go by the definition that the Bible gives: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 John 5 : 7 Yeah, you see Jesus calling The Father his God, but how exactly does that disprove the Trinity? When the Bible clearly says "but unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God,...", case closed. This is not an "interpretation issue" or something of the sort, because the Bible says It clearly that he id God. If you don't believe Jesus is God you're denying the Bible.

@@estebanblanco2001 1st John 5:7 has added text...it simply says: For there are three that testify...then verse 8 says: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree...It is simply talking about Jesus in that section. Not a trinity. Check the ESV, NIV, NASB etc... Besides that, there is no definition between them in any way, even in the OKJV. No one here disagrees with the existence of The Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. We are simply suggesting that defining them (as in the Athanasian Creed since that is the only place the word 'trinity' is mentioned; it's never in Scripture)...we are saying that definition could be off and therefore we should not be dogmatic about it.

The Son is not the Most High, true. However, to rely on one source (the Christian Bible) is of what value rhetorically asked!? For those who only have (any kind) of scripture to rely on. Based on the original texts of Jdm, the Most High divided this part of creation among (quote) the "12 Sons of God". This later was changed to the 12 tribes of Isrl, and this is a tangent of its own. One of the 12 Sons appears to be YHWH, who had a wife and offspring. This is not to forget the other species of creation, such as the various angelics, etc. Christianity could have been its own religion / belief system. The creators of it decided to attach to Judm many hundreds of years later, rewriting their version of the "Old Testament (the Tlmd / Trh). To give themselves authority. For example. The original Hbw text reads to be born of a young woman (aylmah). Christianity translated this to read virgin (batulah). However, when Christianity was translated back into Hbw, it read virgin. What Christians need to reconcile is the translations back and forth should have the same word when describing the said woman. Ism came along and took from both, with more focus on Jdm some seven hundred years after Christianity. Then there is the Aramaic Targum which contains much more details. Such as the two separate creation events in Genesis one and two.

May I suggest that we agree Jesus is not the Father, that He is Divinity, and that He pre-existed. I think where we differ is that taking Old T text referring to Yahweh and then having them quoted again in the New T for Jesus, makes Jesus Yahweh as well. Not the Father, because Yahweh would be the name of the totality that is God. Jesus is worshiped, called God by Thomas, prayed to, and also says He is the Alpha and Omega, which is what Yahweh was in Isaiah. Can't we just say we don't know how that works? Glad you see the Unitarian position falls short, but I am suggesting you're still missing something as it concerns the equality of the Father and Son in Divinity, but not in position, and the Holy Spirit is another discussion, but the scriptures use the proper name, its masculine he, not it, but I do see your points on how its usually just the Father and Son being discussed, but Jesus said to baptize in the name of, and uses all 3 so there's that 😀

I would strongly suggest you contemplate that just maybe, its not Unitarian, maybe not completely Trinitarian in the traditional sense, but that Jesus is Yahweh, but the Son, still one God, we don't have to know how that works, but just like you are reading the plain text of other scriptures showing the Father is not the Son, and that Jesus did come as a man, maybe do the same with other text that do show Jesus is God. @@ShadeStoneMusic because if he is, and if he was making the way for Jesus, then this is interesting. "A voice cries: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for our God." The word LORD here is the divine name: YHWH. Jesus and the Father are both YHWH, just as the angel of YHWH is also YHWH many times. At minimum, binitarianism was in view in the old testament, and there were writings of the Jews dealing with that. It got abandoned... After Jesus. Yes...properly, to empty out, render void; (passive) be emptied - hence, without recognition, perceived as valueless. I've heard different takes on this passage from different positions. They all make decent arguments. All of that said, with the context of verse 5, I still think 'humbling' is the point. The writer doesn't seem to have an intention to say that Jesus is The Father or Triune. He doesn't seem to be heading in that direction with the text. By the time you get to verse 11 it says: And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. So again, we are seeing that The Father is glorified (not Jesus Himself) when Jesus is confessed as Lord. And of course, we still have to work in 1st Corinthians 15:24 where the Kingdom is delivered to The Father. By the way... I see you are really digging into this Sister... Good for You!! 💌
