Would be a great fit on the Magic.. and the Magic LOVE Michigan players
@scootover72 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the exact same thought. 6 ft 8 the Magic could really had even more length if they pick Jett Howard.

if he had came into the season as a highly touted prospect he would be top 5 in most mocks right now... so underrated, can pretty much do anything in a composed fashion as a freshman. This is most def a reach, but why doesnt he get compared to other scoring 6'7-6'8 forward freshmen like tatum?

His defense is straight up bad, his finishing is poor, he is not very athletic vertically, and almost every play he gets ran has to go to his right because his left hand is not developed. His shooting along with his upside as a creator is very intriguing however.

His movement/handle reminds me a lot of Carmelo

Jett Howard will be Ray Allen/Carmelo Anthony 2.0. At 6'8" he is the perfect athletic wing. He will be an NBA star!

You should leave the stats until the end of the video, maybe hinting at them throughout. Your insight throughout the video will paint a picture of what the numbers really mean. I think people will want to stay engaged in the video longer to have that payoff at the end. Love the videos, and I want to see your channel continue to grow!

I think he's as close as you get to a can't miss prospect. As you said, he has both an easily definable role early with room to grow and he's an easy fit on any team. Hard to think of him as a truly elite prospect but he seems like the Desmond Bane type to make a lot of people feel silly for overthinking it and shooting for the moon. I try to be cautious with "high floor" because adapting to the nba is hard but he's just shown too much at too young an age to not describe him as such. Dudes who get it at this point and have solid tools can't be counted out from developing into stars. People still don't understand how important shooting is in building a team. Pistons should be looking at him if they get unlucky in the lotto. Love him for Orlando if the Magic play their way out of the top too. Wizards too, especially if they want to move on from Beal (sorry Johnny Davis).

Tatum was an iso heavy player. Jett plays in the flow and off-ball, so I wouldn’t make that direct comparison. Physique wise they’re similar If you extrapolate based to tools he already has, I’d put him as a Top 3 pick behind Wemby and Scooter. Talent-wise, he’s that good

I want my raptors to draft him but ik they probably won't they like those 6'9 power forward small forward type players
@rafifabdulaziz35962 жыл бұрын
he's playing style is similiar to AJ Griffin. good shooter, can dribble but not too fast and not too strong, can create his own shooting spot and not so good defender.

I wonder how much of the awareness and problems with screen navigation change in the nba when he's guarding up a position. I assume he would guard 3s and 4s due to his height and he seems like he could become pretty big if they wanted him to gain size.

Probably a mid first rounder. I don't see him being a star, but 6'8 guys with a jumper will find homes in the league. For being the son of a well known NBA player, he's flown below the radar, which is just as well.

Don’t love the amount of force feeding, lack of creativity in getting the ball to the post we often see from them. Pretty much the most dissimilar style of basketball to the modern NBA. That’s just my preference! I do enjoy Matt Painter’s (Purdue) sets. He’s a savant. Just a lot of bad basketball in the B1G for me.
