JVP was recently made to pay out $700,000 USD to settle an allegation of financial fraud because while JVP received $340,000 in 2020 through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act the rules exclude entities “primarily engaged in political or lobbying activities.” It's a pity it didn't go to trial because they may have had to pay back in damages triple the amount it received.
