Ray i disagree with you telling people that the good news is that God or Jesus abolish death, that's not the good news, that's not the gospel, that's not what people are to believe as a requirement to be saved. Its a good news but not the main and most important news. The good news is that Jesus satisfy God's justice. Like you say, he pay the penalty for us. But I like to call it, Jesus satisfied God's justice by receiving God's wrath and justice in our place. Hope you realize that and hopefully explain the difference in a video.

I like Jordan Peterson he has been a good influence on young men. I don’t think he is a Christian in the actual sense of the word. I think he uses the principles to help people. I think he has been taught and influenced by religious professors which is not the same as actual Christians believers. He has been made believe that mythology and pagan religions of the world are the same as Christianity and Judaism that the meaning of the Bible is more like mythology and representations of God’s teachings. Also he is a psychologist so he sees everything through that lens. He is just starting his journey. I pray for him because he can be a voice for Yeshua. I love the way you teach the young people with love and in a way that they get it and makes them think. I pray that you keep opening people’s minds and your rewards may be many. Love your videos. You have taught me a lot.❤❤❤❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Yes! Christian’s failing to read the Bible is a bit like scientists never reading a book on science! I read the Bible-in-a-year chronologically. I’ve done so for the last several years and it’s a pretty easy read. Honestly, if I don’t do my days reading, I feel that something is missing from my day. I think people kind of get caught up in the magnitude when they just open it and start randomly. A disciplined approach is much better. God bless you and good luck!

@dwdriverАй бұрын
@@4specialist I challenge you then, to explain how the Bible (as a PARADOX) can be: a self-defining, self-referential; self-replicating text, that contains embedded data - just like the 22 autosomes in your own human DNA. This paradox lies within the structure of the Hebrew language and specifically, the way its letters function. The 22 letters of the original Paleo-Hebrew alphabet (Aleph-Bet) were derived from common physical objects-things like an ox-head (turn the Latin letter 'A' upside-down and you can still see it), a house, a leg, a door (a triangle tent-flap, the source of the Greek letter Delta and our Latin letter 'D'), Water - the M are the waves of water and so on. These letters represent both tangible objects and abstract concepts. For example: Aleph, representing an ox-head, symbolizes strength, leadership, or God. Bet, representing a house, conveys not just "house" but also "family" and "dwelling." Gimel, representing a camel or a leg, conveys the idea of walking or movement. Vav, represents a tent-peg or a nail, conveys the idea of "attachment" and "fixed" as well as the word "and" Mem, represents waves like the letter 'M', conveys the idea of water, or something being "from" and "life", "flow", "chaos". Each letter carries both a literal meaning (the object it represents) and an abstract or conceptual meaning that deepens its significance. This dual meaning enables the letters, when combined into words, to not only form the word but also define the words the letters spell in a deeper, and at times recursive way. There are literally dozens of Hebrew word studies on KZbin that explore this property of Hebrew words and letters in great detail - so I will not delve into that here; but, I suggest you do it on your own. That said - HERE, in simple layman's terms, IS THE PARADOX that makes this system so profound: When you spell out the names of the Hebrew letters themselves, they reveal the additional layers of meaning to the letters. For instance: Aleph, spelled Aleph-Lamed-Pey can be interpreted as “God speaks.” The Aleph-Lamed represents God, and the Pey (פ) means speech. Bet, spelled: Bet-Yod-Tav forms the word for “house" or "family". The Bet means "house" or "family", the Yod means he and Tav means she Vav, spelled: Vav-Aleph-Vav forms the word "nail" nail"). The Vav is a nail, Aleph is God and the last Vav is another nail. Yes - this is God fixed between two nails. Gimal, spelled: Gimel-Mem-Yod-Lamed a leg and means "walk from and to", "travel", "give", "yield", Gimal is "walk", Mem means "from". Yod means "throw" or "go". Lamed is "to". This system isn’t just a linguistic coincidence-it's as if the letters themselves "speak" to each other, revealing the meaning of the words and letter names in multiple, self-referential ways. However, here’s the key point: You cannot understand the embedded meanings of the letters or their names, unless you already know the meanings of the other letters, that spell those letters, beforehand. This is the heart of the paradox. It’s a chicken-before-the-egg conundrum: Which came first-the letters and their names, or the meanings of the letters? The meanings are inherently embedded in the objects themselves, and yet the letters' structure requires an understanding of their meanings to create the words that form their names. This creates a literally impossible recursion: the system of letters and meanings seems to be self-referential and self-validating in a way that human intelligence alone cannot produce. This is where the argument becomes compelling: It is not possible, by human intelligence alone, to create a system like this. To construct the Hebrew alphabet in such a way that the letters both represent tangible objects and abstract concepts, and also contain recursive meanings when their names are spelled out, would require a level of foresight and complexity that is beyond any known human or technological capability. In computer programming, this is called 'embedded data'. But how did it get there almost 4,000 years ago? The Hebrew alphabet’s system of embedded, self-referential meaning is so complex that it transcends human intelligence-past, present, and future. It is beyond what we could design consciously, and even beyond what any AI or computer could generate, as the meanings of the letters and words cannot exist independently of the system they create. They are dependent upon one another, prior to their formation. So which came first? The paradox is unsolvable and the aleph-bet cannot have been created by human or technological means. Can you explain how anyone other than God could have created this system? No. But the Words themselves tell you explicitly who did. We live in a paradoxical and dualistic world. Up/down, high/low, hot/cold, near/far, light/dark, knowledge/confusion, good/bad , love/hate, and yes/no. Why? "Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure" Isaiah 46:9-10. He declared the end "from" the beginning. It's already done. Then what of free will? Love necessitates free will. After all, you cannot be forced to even like anyone, let alone love them. "God(aleph) to(lamed) Speaks(pey)". But to whom? His creation. In reverse (palindrome) "Speak(pey) to(lamed) God(aleph)". It's a "living word". He wants relationship with His creation. But, that relationship must be an act of free will, or it is meaningless. So you've been given time to decide if you want that. He had to make the ability to reject Him a possibility for all and for all He desires (and has) love. It is a decision you are free to make, just like everyone else. It is not God's "will" that He be refused - but He has allowed you to make that choice, if that is what you truly want, just as God allows evil to occur, even though it is not His will. At least, for the time being. FWIW, Hebrew is also a language that cannot be broken! For to change the meaning or use of a single letter would literally break (or corrupt) the language - just like what happened at the Tower of Babel.

You're not understanding the definition of Myth. Only its second definition does myth mean false idea. When it comes to the Bible myth is the mystery or Mysterion. It's synonymous with words like parable or allegory. Jesus spoke in parables to keep the hidden wisdom, as explained in Corinthians because the gospels are veiled, away from the profane of heart.

@MrGivememorecoffee2 ай бұрын
I agree this was hard to watch him deny the scripture. Thank you for addressing this Ray! For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God, 1 Corinthians 1:18 John said about Jesus I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Fathers hand. I urge you all to consider your own hearts. To not share this loving gospel of ETERNAL LIFE, not temporary life. Christs sacrifice is perfect and sufficient to save the most wretched sinner and transform their heart from death to new life. If you aren’t trusting fully only in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ then YOU are not saved. Ephesians 2:8-9 for you are saved by grace, through faith that not of yourselves it is a gift of God not of works lest any man should boast. I will pray for true conversion and that God will bring new life to your hearts so you see people are in danger of his judgment and that he has freely given any who repents of their sins and trusts in him complete eternal life! Never temporary. Christ explains apostasy like this in his parable of the sower and the seeds, some fall on rocky soil and are choked out by the cares of this world. You cannot serve two masters, those you believe have “fallen simply never had salvation to begin with. Salvation is not by merit, it’s by mercy. The doctrine you believe is not the Jesus of the Bible, his sacrifice is sufficient to save any sinner who turns to him in faith. Please we must all repent of these false doctrines and be born again by full submission to his death on the cross. To believe his sacrifice was insufficient you will not enter into his kingdom. He will only judge us on our breaking his law, not on our good deeds. Those who are born of God will receive rewards from their father in heaven but it’s out of fatherly love not to earn justification in his courtroom. We cannot justify our evil with our good nor would you allow an early judge to let a criminal go simply because of some good deeds you would desire the law for justice ,that’s why he came as our substitute and held the entire law sinless and was sacrificed for us. Please I urge you all to believe in his sufficient sacrifice.

He seems ready to jump in with his opinions... not showing respect to allow others their chance to answer questions. He gets excited and then shows his anger. Saying something just said ... is "silly or stupid" doesn't appear to be a respectful response. I am sorry he doesn't look back, and "study" to know when Scriptures are an authentic translation of GOD'S WORD. Perhaps in humility he might trust GOD rather than his own misguided opinion on the eternal WORD of his own CREATOR.

For a scholar and an intelligent man, to be confused by a book, that speaks plainly, though with parables and written in a different language. You'd think that this would be a huge challenge for these people....but I believe, the more he has read...the more he has been secretly convicted of....So, therefore, he can't fully say yes to Christianity.....It's okay, God has give everyone a choice. The other day, someone told me, 'Oh, he’s a Christian,' and I said, 'No, he’s not.' They replied, 'Well, I think he is because he and his wife are Catholic.' To that, I responded, 'Maybe he identifies as Catholic, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a Christian.' @uchenzedibe7519Ай бұрын
Not really. Everyone has that part of the Bible that they don't understand. Jonathan Peterson understands the philosophy about Jesus. Unfortunately, he lacks the faith to believe that the Bible is true. The anguish he experienced is the response to the pressure he was facing. When there is a gang-up in a debate, somebody is bound to cave in, and it happened to be him. Additionally, Mr Peterson has showed signs of a willingness to know the Lord. Despite his openness about it, he still lacks the necessary Christian community that could nurture and grow his faith. He is struggling on his own, trying to know and discover who God is, what He is like and why He makes decisions the way he does. Once, he said that the God of the Old Testament was a merciful God. I didn't see God as merciful because of all the people he killed. I was fearful of God's character, but Mr Peterson said that he was merciful. So, I was led to read Isaiah and Ezekiel where I realized that God was actually merciful. I just glazed over it every time I read those books. It never clicked until he said it. The ONLY THING this man lacks is STRONG CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY. The body of Christ needs to gather round him and hold Bible studies with him and his family. The man already believes in Jesus. All we need to do is help him believe the rest or else, he would all away (like what happened to Kanye West). If you want better results, this is the WAY to go. Walk in it.😊 God bless you. Stay blessed and encouraged.

It is very deep but it is not complex, as David said in Psalm 19:7: "The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple". "when the story originated way back" implies that nothing in the Bible is actually history and all of it is just a big story that has morphed over time. But we know this is not true because the story of cain and able has NEVER changed throughout time. The Dead Sea Scrolls (circa 3rd century BCE - 1st century CE): Among these ancient Hebrew texts, portions of Genesis have been found, including parts of the Cain and Abel story. These texts show that by this period, the Genesis narrative was already written in a form quite similar to the Masoretic Text (the traditional Hebrew text of the Jewish Bible), suggesting minimal alteration from this time onward. To those that ASSUME the Bible is like the childhood learning lesson of "telephone" where one person quietly tells something to the next and then by the end of the chain you cannot recognize the original message, all I can say is that you do not know what you are talking about. The Bible is not passed by word of mouth because IT IS WRITTEN. And the very latest Bible are in very close agreement with the Dead Sea scrolls, and were in fact in agreement before the scrolls were discovered. No tweaks had to be made to the modern copies of the Bible in order to align with stuff from very near the time of Christ.

Oversimplification is also foolish. As JP explains in some videos why he refuses to dive in such religious questions, is SIMPLY because it's not that simple. **The question of whether water is wet is also philosophical and depends on how you define "wet." If you define "wet" as "covered or saturated with liquid," then yes, water can be considered wet. Each water molecule is surrounded by other water molecules, so in a sense, it's "wet" itself. However, if "wet" is as the sensation of a liquid coming into contact with a solid surface, then water itself isn't wet. It's the *effect* of water on other substances that we perceive as wetness. Ultimately, the answer to this question is a matter of perspective and definition. How much more for spiritual or religious matters? JPeterson was being honest that his knowledge ends and admits his incapability of accounting for Cain/Abel's existence or the virgin birth. Your judgement of JP is unfair and cockeyed.
