This is a brilliant video. I am ashamed to see that the people in these comments did not watch it through. Doing stuff without music is definitely a start. Fasting the mind is a skill all must learn. I practice music fasting to make better music.

11:02 This part is so poignant. I dealt with almost a year of joblessness which in turn killed my belief that I could will my success into existence. It’s only now by embracing truth, humility, and seeking the help of Christ and my community that I’ve felt the winds change somewhat.

Very insightful. It feels the West either wakes up to its divine tradition or perishes. All over the alt YT space you're seeing this understanding manifest in new ways

May I ask where is that beautiful place ? Jordan Peterson is a big influencer. Although incredibly intelligent we just have to remember he is just a man and on his life journey like the rest of us. Its only God that knows our beginning and our end, and all the in betweens.

Self indulgence and manifestation mentality is demonic, it necessitates you believing you are the sole actor and arbiter in your universe. Effectively believing you are god. Without a religious frame work every action is in worship of yourself
@ThekeningerАй бұрын
Of course we are God; God is love, and there is a subjective observer within us, our true self. It doesn't want anything; it simply exists here and now and it's universal for every human. The only demonic thing is the undisciplined ego-Satan, the false self. Jesus said, "When you see one who was not born of woman, prostrate yourselves on your faces and worship him. That one is your father."

@@Thekeninger No. There is a reason the "Gospel" of Thomas is not Christian canon. Its gnostic origins are plainly evident. You might as start quoting The Book of Mormon.
@ThekeningerАй бұрын
@@shimmyshimmyko-ko-bop594 Jesus was not a Christian, and he did not compile the biblical canon himself. The canon exists because there was a need to structure Jesus' teachings in order to establish a new religion within the Roman Empire. The Gospel of Thomas was written around the same time as the later 'true' gospels that were included in the biblical canon. In fact, it shares more elements with the canonical gospels than with other Gnostic texts. Including the Gospel of Thomas sheds new light on the canon and offers additional clarity regarding the actions of Jesus. Meanwhile, those who are deeply committed to the traditional canon often feel compelled to defend it at all costs, as their entire belief system is built upon miraculous events. You have Christians, much like the 'Peterson type,' who recognize the significance of the Crucifixion but struggle to fully understand its meaning.

@@Thekeninger Failing to acknowledge, or refusing to acknowledge, the differences between the statements made in the Book of Thomas and the books of the New Testament is intellectually dishonest. I agree that gnostic teachings clarify and reveal new truths, but only in their juxtaposition to the Gospel. You use a stone to sharpen a blade but that does not make the stone equal to the blade.

"Demons" as you call them, can help a lot with goal setting. Once you get clear on your goals, get quiet, and see if you feel a presence. It may greet you with a sensation or an impression of thoughts or even a voice. Tell it what you want, and ask it what it wants in return. Usually it wants nothing more than to go on a journey with you. Don't be afraid - God and Jesus are just the same as these entities, just very powerful ones that have had centuries of Christians talking to them in their heads.
@OneCharmedLifeАй бұрын
"...if you feel a presence..." there are all sorts of presences that one can encounter throughout the day, and not all of them are divine in nature... the only presence you wish to connect yourself to is the Holy Spirit. There is discernment to be made when shuffling through the wide variety of presences available through your day.

Demons are disfunctions of mental processes due trauma or identifing with words in your monkey mind . Some malfunctions can surely help you orient yourself in current reality. For example, your mind might create narcissistic or psychopathic personality, making it easier for you to use others for your delusional goals. In the end, you will face the consequences of your actions anyway.
