Love your channel bro, I turned 10 years old in 1999. So I was kid during the 90’s when I had my snes and my library consisted of Mario All stars, donkey country trilogy, Mario kart and super Mario world. I had no idea snes had an huge library. Now I can just watch your channel and learn about all the games I never played without having to buy old cartridges just based off the cover art. I only had 5 games but I loved the snes growing up. You’re doing Gods work my friend! 🤘🏽

I actually have always seen this as a very strong release. The presentation is impressive, and the difficulty is tuned almost perfectly. This was a great year for SNES games. Though I got really into Playstation at the end of the year, arguably SNES had the best year of any console in 1995.

Judge Dredd was not originally a graphic novel. It was a serialized feature in an English anthology comic called 2000 AD. it's been ongoing since the late 1970's

Comic book isn't a graphic novel?
@maxducoudray
@maxducoudray Жыл бұрын
@@cybergothika6906 Absolutely a different format here. 2000 AD was a weekly release on newsprint, with several continuing storylines. Judge Dredd was the central feature, included in every issue. Do some people use “graphic novel” as a synonym for comic? Maybe. But 2000 AD is different enough to be worth pointing out the distinction.

Graphic novel is a standalone story. For example it's like a single movie. A serialised comic book is a weekly or monthly issue. Eg its like a tv show weekly episodes. All graphic novels can be considered comic books but not all comic books are graphic novels.

One of my favorite SNES games. I remember being 13-14 when I got this game as a gift and thought "Oh lord, these movie games are hit and miss." And then it ended up being a complete surprise how fun it was. Years later - perhaps in high school or early college - I played through this again - and it actually lead me to try another game I was always timid towards "Star Gate" and again - I found another of my favorite games for the SNES. Love the channel, brother. Keep it up!! PS - I've followed you for a long time - but was curious if you've ever done a video on Super Baseball 2020 by SNK for both the SNES and Genesis? I think it would be a good comparison video considering that the Genesis version most closely represents the NEO GEO version but is much easier vs. the SNES having some minor censored content but being just as challenging as the arcade version. I'd love to see you do a video on this.

I really don't want to be that guy, he didn't first appear in a graphic novel, it was a British comic called 2000AD issue 2, I think it was 1977 but don't hold me to that year. It's really good as it runs in real time, he was in his late twenties early thirties and now he's over 70. They have lots of other good stories in the comic too, you can buy just judge dread in big volumes which tell his story, it's such a well Realised world you can really geek out to it. As this is an old video I doubt Your see this but I just want to say thank you for your videos, they've really taken me on a nostalgia trip. Cheers from london England mate

@@bilbo1778 the problem was mostly the fact that they ONLY showed it in 3D at theaters. Anyone who didn't like 3D movies, or theaters not equipped for them, caused the film to go widely unseen until home-release, and even then it was terribly marketed as you said. I watched it on Netflix for the first time quite a few years ago. It's a shame they made those decisions, though it probably would've been a pretty cool movie in 3D.
