Apples to oranges. To get a reliable comparison you need to have two KS0s, one pool mining the other solo on the same pool.

Kaspa block reward is cut in half every year, but instead of cutting it in half all at once, once per year, kaspa block rewards reduce by a small amount once per month equaling a 50% reduction each year

THM brother I could have dedicated one of my KS0 for your test, I got 6 KS0 on one address and 4 on another with my KS1 and KS3L, the 6 KS0 in the last 30 days mined 18,942 Kaspa, that works out to 3,157 Kaspa per KS0 pool mining in the last 30 days, next time let me know and I’ll change one of them to whatever address/pool you like.

Also just remember doing the math for pool mining after will be way off especially with Kaspa because of the monthly block reward reduction and major jump in network hashrate, back in Aug. 20 Kaspa network was around 12PH and KS0 was earning over 140 KAS per day, today that’s down to like 64, so truly no way to do that math after, best to dedicate one miner on pool and one on solo.

i think the 30day pool mining number you used in the video is a projection so thats going forward vs looking backwards at what was mined in 30 days. so it throws off this experiment a bit

love the videos very helpful. I received my machine But I hit a snag and tried this herominer solo mining. Since, my machine shuts off after 2 mins. A weird wallet showed up in my address and the machines green light stays solid. Can’t access after 60 sec. Reset and have tried this about 10 times. I’m stumped. Not blaming anyone but any tips would be appreciated. Machine was running smoothly pool Ming for about 2 weeks.

Never was a fan if calculating ROI with current price. I like using projected price…when btc was $0.009 in 2009, and miners were getting 50 btc a day…hard to say that they would be only getting 45 cents a day now that 1 btc is $26k 😊
