also highlight that in kenya every vehicle be it private or public must have insurance cover...and for matatus its a third party insurance cover that incase of an accident the passengers are compensated.and every matatu must go for police inspection every year to be allowed to operate.Every driver and conductor must have a certificate of good conduct from the police that assures the public and the employer that the person hasnt engaged in any criminal activity and its renewed.

I would like you to know how bodaboda came to be in Kenya and Uganda. The name started from the border of Kenya and uganda Busia and Malaba border, when the bicycle used to transport goods and traders from Uganda to Kenya and Kenya to Uganda through the Border. So it was border to border and it started as a bicycle then later improved to motor bikes and it started from Malaba Kenya then it spread across the country. When you visit Malaba or busia border you will still see the bicycle bodabodas still in operation

We're also building Railway City, a modern rail transport targeted yo reduce jam in the City centre. It's expected to serve over 30thousand people on a daily basis. It's also going to link the Tecno Konza city that's coming up in Kenya and Tatu City. It's going to be the most advanced Rail in Africa. Konza city is a new Heaven, built from scratch. Apple store, Google, name it. The centre of technology in Africa.

Public transport in Nairobi collapsed in 1999. Bodaboda are very new in Kenya, introduced in 2010. Bodaboda were originally only in Uganda or the border. Matatu are also illegal originally, but politics interfered.
