It's hard not to love Do Bronx, especially at this point in his career. Yet, Oliveira has a mountain to climb, he has a Murderers' Row of opponents in the win column, so the challenge of being an underdog is nothing new. However, I'm betting this will be the switch of the belts. Oliveira has paths to victory, several to many, but Islam is capable of countering, negating, and dragging this fight out for all 5 rounds if needed. A new champ is on the card. With such close lines, it's hard not to take Oliveira, but it's easier to take Islam for the win.

Good points. I'm obviously speculating here, but Khabibulin is most likely continuing to say that about winning on the ground to keep his fighter confident. But we all know how it can mean several different things. I will point out that what could be troublesome for Islam, is taking Olivera lightly if Khabib and Islam's camp really believes that statement. I will be the 1st to tell you that Olivera is a monster on the ground. He needs no introduction and I mean 0 introduction to anyone who has ever rolled or even grappled to a degree if I'm being honest. Islam very well may win this fight, but I can promise you it will not be easy. A little luck may be needed, but certainly the highest level of skill will be needed as a guaranteed fact for winning.

YESSSS. I've been muttering to myself for about a week ,about how khabib seems more confident in Islam than Islam himself. Maybe khabib isn't a coach yet, that Islam might be more focused of prospect of disappointing khabib and crew than focused on winning..and justly so, Charles has upset a lot of people's careers, broken a lot of dreams... This is a great build up for a fight even if by mistake...

@@stalebr.754 Actually it's a total of 12 fights Khabub was supposed to fight and Khabib or the opponent has pulled out. When his opponents pull out Khabib doesn't ask for a replacement he quits too. 5 is an embarrassing number too.
