I wonder whether you have tried some of the food from the local franchise restaurants like Secret Recipe, Ayamas, Chicken Rice Shop, Paparich, Old White Coffee etc. Few of my favorites are the lamb shank and mashed potatoes (@ RM40+ = USD8) or fish and chips (@ RM20+ = USD4), both at the Secret Recipe, the cakes are also quite good, my favorite is the macadamia caramel cheesecake. 😀

Whenever i see people eat skewered food from the end part, you know, where when you eat some the sharp lad protruded, i cringe. My always told it to eat them sideways (like when you eat corn on a cob), so that sharp thing is away from your mouth. Had been enjoying your vids tho. and even tho i am local, i did no9t know some of those places you been, and i live there😅 Glad you had fun visiting. jumpa lagi😄

KL streetfood is not like before. The flooding of foreign workers especially from indonesia, bangladesh, thailand, vietnam, cambodia, china etc changed the quality of the food from top notch to just regular

. I came from Penang (the food paradise) 35 years ago. I stayed and worked in KL since then. The food quality from the hawkers has improved a lot with great variety.

Additional information : Real Malaysia and halal food is in Kampung Baru area. But usually sold as breakfast or lunch. Malaysian snack of the dry type (which lasts longer) is sold in grocery stores or at stalls in tourist attraction areas.

mostly in malaysia have many unique and delicious food. the food will not be available in other asian countries only in malaysia. the country of malaysia is the most interesting from other countries in asia..what is there on earth malaysia..in the country of indonesia there is no thank you.go to kl don't travel to jakarta.because there are only residents there are more than 50 million people there.tourists rarely travel to jakarta they prefer to go to malaysia kl because the place is better and the roads are not congested everywhere.
