hey ill share my experience with anyone considering it. im 18 and noticed my hairline receding a bit so i consulted a specialised medical group and purchased a course that consisted of 6 months of weekly 40 min laser therapy as well as 2 prps and 6 months of liquid minoxidil supply for £1800 (on student discount) the course has since ended and i was told the purpose of the laser regrowth is to actually halt the receding not to "revive" the hair the only way thats possible is with a transplant as once the follicles die they don't respond to stimulants which can range from £2k-£4k+ (laser regrowth prerequisite is a MUST though for transplants) The reason hair counts may seem to grow is that the alive follicles sprout more than just a single hair usually clusters of 2-5 so they may be able to improve density of existing hair. TLDR: it keeps what you have and doesn't bring dead hair follicles back to life

I’m about to start this. I have thining hair from my crown to the front (back and side of head has full thick hair). Having examined my scalp..the majority of my hair follicles in the thinning areas of head are still active..but only sprouting single thin hairs. So with some meds, special shampoo formulas to be taken daily along with laser should make a difference. But this treatment will only work if hair follicle are active. If the hair follicle is dead (zoomed in you will notice scaring and no hair)…then hair transplant is only option. Happy to update in 6 months time

@@mp3rez368 so….i stopped going to my hair clinic a few weeks ago and have been doing treatment at home..including purchasing my own low level laser cap. After 3 months I’m starting to see more hair growth around my crown area and some towards front of head. I do the cap every other day and am still using shampoo, tablets and 5% minoxidil drops twice a day (don’t massage into head..let it dry naturally). Don’t bother with Regaine Foam, as foam stoped working after a week and turned to runny liquid.

For some consumers I’ve seen great success with it while others had mediocre success and then the last batch saw no change. On top of that it requires a commitment. You have to do it religiously 2-4 times a week. And it’s months before anyone can tell if it’s working or not. Not to mention the laser devices are expensive. But hair transplant is much more expensive. And all of those supplements and lotions and pills you’ve tried for years with no change all add up to a hefty sum that could be used to buy a device. Unfortunately you have to take the risk to see if that option will bring in positive results. It’s also unfortunate that there really is no cheap solution that works for all men and women experiencing hair loss.

Used a high-quality laser (272 laser diodes, no LEDs) for 6 months, applied as directed. There was no significant effectiveness. Note that I was older and have treated my androgenetic hair loss with minoxidil and dutasteride for several years with fading effectiveness. Laser added nothing.

That’s actually a good point.. it doesn’t seem like it’s a break through.. and even ones who claim it works, it’s not an independent review but from some vendor/supplier of LLLT showing photos, that’s probably from a user/patient who also used minoxidil and/or finasteride to get that improvement. But as you suggested, it seems like it’s less likely to work.. otherwise everyone would be using it and people won’t be going bald anymore

Laser cap hair therapy, also known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT), typically uses light wavelengths in the range of 650 to 670 nanometers (nm) for stimulating hair growth. This range of wavelengths is believed to penetrate the scalp and improve cellular activity, thereby promoting hair growth. So I believed that ur face LED mask does not help

Hello doctor, my hair was extremely strong and thick, I lost 2÷3 of my hair, I am trying to remove it. I was 15 years old, I applied gel to the roots of my hair, I washed my hair every day, I did not protect my hair in the sun, I was also depressed, after that period, my hair started to thin and fall out. After 1 year, I was diagnosed with androgetic alpoesia for the first 3 months. I used minoxil, I went to the doctor again because it did not block qma dht, I started finasteride, I have completed 1 year now, the side effects are a decrease in libido, difficulty in speaking, there is a problem in the brain, difficulty in thinking, I have difficulty understanding, this is probably my question to the doctor, which I was worried about before, should I stop finasteride and continue using a low level laser cap? My hair will not fall out again. Can I get rid of the side effects? Also, is a low level laser cap as effective as finasteride? Can it protect my hair? I would appreciate it if you could answer me quickly. I am thinking of quitting the drug. I need to study and cannot work.
