I bought my Unit thanks to your reviews! I’ve been running it at 28c and it feels comfortable even when we’re at 42c outside. One thing that you can mention about the app is that you can see the energy consumption and go back by days, weeks and more.

KZbin recommend me your video after a year.. Want to say thanks. You helped me to buy this ac as your videos consider real life scenarios and to the point. Last year I watched many of your videos and those assured me that this ac is worth buying. Forgot your channel name but it popped up today. Thanks again

Thanks, bro! 😊 and how is your AC doing? This year I bought LGs hot and cold AC (non-WiFi) I can't wait to make videos about it, especially during winters.
@mukeshgoyal3 жыл бұрын
@@TechGuyCharlie yes the idea during winter is great. I don't expect anybody will make as deatil video as yours on that topic. My AC is doing pretty fine.. I take unit reading daily in morning and it pretty consistent. I genrally switch on ac around 9 pm (I live in Delhi) And we switch it off 5am So for night time specific as I keep a check on that as well. it consumes around 5~6 unit with only one ac and fan in other room switched on. We run at 26 for whole night. With sometime at 24 for first 30 min or hr.

Hey Charlie, just wanted to thank you for uploading this kind of videos. After watching, I was able to decide what AC to buy and it was LG 2021 IPX model(Philippines model) and I must say, one of the best decision we have made. Good thing I saw this particular vid as I was doubting the app as well hahaha. Many thanks😊

Does energy control also effects ac cycling? So if i put it on 40% the ac will take longer cycles to cool?
@Bodeaux263 жыл бұрын
Hi. For May, the app says my Monthly Cumulative Usage is 118.5kWh and Operation time 18Day 15H 40M. Is the operation time equivalent to 447 hours and 40 minutes (18days x 24 hours= 432 + 15 = 447 hours?). If yes, the average hourly watt consumption for the month is 265 watts? Did I compute it correctly? It seems my computation for the hours is off. Thank you from the Philippines, appreciate your uploads.

Will it keep calculating the energy consumption if It gets disconnected from the wifi. And I connect it after few days to check energy consumption?
@TechGuyCharlie3 жыл бұрын
I think it needs to stay connected to WiFi to record the energy consumption data, I don't think the AC has any onboard storage to store the energy consumption data.

hello, I love your content. Is it possible that you can compare the temperature variation and the power consumption between an inverter and a non-inverter ACs of the same brand, same model at 6, 8 and 12 hours? Most people say the inverter only works of we run the AC for more than 8hrs and they also say it has less temperature variation => better for health Thank you. I know this is super hard

Hey, I want to confirm one thing. How accurate is the lg ac remote while showing room temp? As you have other temperature measuring device, it will take only 10 sec for you to see the present room temp displayed in ac remote and the room. Temp as per measuring device. Thanks in advance.
@TechGuyCharlie3 жыл бұрын
Hey, I just checked, both, my dedicated weather station and the LG remote show the exact same temperature. I'd say the thermometer on the remote is quite accurate. Hope this helps. 😊
@mukeshgoyal3 жыл бұрын
@@TechGuyCharlie thank you so much.. Also thanks for quick response. And Its OK even if it varies a bit 1 ~2 degree than the dedicated device. But it's giving same reading is quite good. These r small things but do increase the trust on brand. Nd I keep sharing your ac videos.. Everyone find those so useful. I am going to do one test after your comment to keep this remote outside and to check what reading I can get. And you can run this test also if u feel interested and one more when you start your ac tomorrow and your room is warm. Because currently it will be 24~25 as you r using ur ac. But when u start ur ac the room temp should be quite higher around 30 degrees. I am skeptical that whenever I switch on ac it shows room temp 28~30 and then gradually reduces it. I thought they might have programmed it in a certain way that it always show around 30 and then gradually reduce it to set temperature. I don't have other means to test it. Now You confirmed it ans I got the idea to test this remote outside to see whether it will show 40ish temp as Delhi is too hot now a days. (obviously not going to keep it in direct sunlight)

Anytime man! If you ever have any questions feel free to leave a comment! Get yourself the indoor/outdoor weather station, the one I use in my AC videos, its a little expensive but has been totally worth it! right now it's showing that it is 35.3 outside! quite warm indeed. It's pretty normal, if you buy a thermometer and keep it with your remote, both will show the exact same reading! of course, there can be a 1-2 degree difference but from what I've observed both show the exact same reading. I will make more videos on these ACs but have to find a balance between making other content too! like I had uploaded 3 AC videos in a row and people who watch phone videos started un-subscribing lol, that actually hurts the channel a lot and YT cuts down reach if people unsub like this!
@mukeshgoyal3 жыл бұрын
@@TechGuyCharlie I understand that.. You have pretty much covered everything for those ac. And to grow the channel and to share the knowledge obviously you will make video on other content also and it's great thing. Its just the thing that you cover those aspect which r practical and not like others who just read the specification of ac listed on amazon page. Keep doing great work.. And leaving a comment for a question is what I just did. I want to get it checked. So I searched your channel. Open this particular video. (at first I thought to ask this on your latest video, but I then looked up for this specifically). And you replied too.
